المسؤوليات والمهام

• Take overall in-charge responsibility for audits of medium and small clients and act as a semi-senior on larger clients.
• Mentor assistants, associates and trainees and support their office orientation.
• Participate in audit planning and strategy.
• Monitor engagement budgets.
• Prepare reporting deliverables including annual financial statements, management letters and key-features memoranda.
• Ensure all review notes are cleared.
• Perform analytical review of full financial statements.
• Handle consolidation work in specified high-risk areas.
• Follow engagements through finalization and manage audit administration.
• Maintain client relations and interact with client staff.
• Prepare and update system documentation and complete general-file documents.
• Perform analytical review of financial statements and focus on key captions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory and investments within the risk boundaries described by the source.
• Coach, review and delegate work performed by team members and ensure engagement reviews are completed on time.
• Clear review notes and thoroughly check working papers before management review.
• Develop industry knowledge to complement functional skills.
• Perform compliance testing, including system walkthrough work.
• Audit statutory records, internal controls and consolidated accounts.
• Attend stock counts and follow up the counts.
• Participate in pre-engagement planning with team members and client staff, including client needs, expectations, roles and budgets.
• Understand the client's business, products, performance and accounting policies.
• Adhere to KPMG's code of conduct and risk-management policies and procedures.
• Perform effective engagement wrap-up, support report issuance and concurring review, and complete file and work-paper retention steps.

المتطلبات والمؤهلات والمهارات

• Bachelor in Commerce, completed A levels or equivalent.
• ACCA pathway: a minimum of nine papers completed, F1-F9.
• CPA pathway: two papers completed.
• ICAEW pathway: Professional Stage completed.
• Two to three years or more of post-graduate experience.
• Knowledge of accounting concepts and computer literacy.
• Strong analytical skills, customer focus and the ability to mentor new team members.
• Good English communication in reading, writing and speaking; Arabic is described as an advantage. The source language matrix also displays both English and Arabic as fluent across speaking, reading, writing and listening.
• Proactive and independent working style, research and knowledge-sharing ability, efficient analysis, creative problem solving and effective communication.
