About Oman Electricity Transmission Company SAOC (OETC)

Oman Electricity Transmission Company SAOC (OETC) has a vital role in the Oman electricity sector, as it owns and operates the electricity transmission network across the Sultanate of Oman. The company transmits electricity from generating stations to distribution load centers in all governorates of the Sultanate. The main electricity transmission network operates at high voltage of 132kV and above. OETC is also responsible for balancing generation and demand at all times of the day as part of its responsibilities for the economic dispatch of power in the Sultanate.

تلعب الشركة العُمانية لنقل الكهرباء ش.م.ع.م دورًا حيويًا في قطاع الكهرباء بسلطنة عُمان، حيث تمتلك وتشغل شبكة نقل الكهرباء عبر محافظات السلطنة. تقوم الشركة بنقل الطاقة الكهربائية من محطات الإنتاج إلى مراكز توزيع الأحمال في جميع محافظات سلطنة عُمان، وتعمل شبكة نقل الكهرباء الرئيسية بجهد عالٍ 132 كيلوفولت فما فوق. كما تتحمل الشركة مسؤولية موازنة الإنتاج والطلب في جميع الأوقات ضمن مسؤولياتها لتحقيق التوزيع الاقتصادي للطاقة في السلطنة.
