Manager Asset Integrity

Job Title: Manager, Asset Integrity

Stream: OQEP-Operated Assets

Function: Technical Services – Asset Integrity

Location: HO- Oman

Reporting to: Head of Technical Services

Job Purpose:

Lead and oversee Asset Integrity across OQEP operated assets, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation of facilities and pipelines. Own asset integrity standards and inspection governance, addressing complex technical issues to sustain mechanical availability and operational continuity. Develop and execute robust inspection, corrosion, and materials frameworks aligned with international standards. Ensure risk-based decision-making, regulatory compliance, and technical assurance to protect people, environment, and asset value.

Lead Environment

Background and Experience:

• Minimum 8+ years in environmental management, 5+ years in upstream Oil & Gas.
• Experience in environmental consultancy in Oman advantageous.
• Extensive experience in environmental impact assessment, ENVID, baseline assessments.
• Fundamental knowledge of HSE risk assessment, HAZID, and HAZOP.
• In-depth knowledge of national and international regulations for upstream Oil & Gas.
• Experience in incorporating industry best practices into project phases.
• Fundamentals of occupational health and safety management.
• Certified ISO 14001:2015 EMS auditor.

Senior Specialist Emergency & Crises Management

Background and Experience:

• 6+ years in emergency management, response, crisis, disaster, or risk management.
• Knowledge of emergency and crises operations, tactical response, and systems.
• Understanding of fire safety management, equipment, and technologies.

• Knowledge of Omani National Emergency Strategies (NCEM) and HSE management systems.

Background and Experience:

• 8+ years in corrosion, materials, and asset integrity, preferably in oil & gas or heavy industry
• Working knowledge of MCE, D&D, E&I
• Industry certifications: ASME, API, NDT, NACE (AMPP certification is an advantage)
• Knowledge in software: Bentley APM, PI, CMMS
• Inspection, corrosion engineering, welding, materials, QA/QC experience
