OQGN, VP Technology
Job purpose
- Accountable for driving the Technology agenda, Integrated Digital Solutions, Cybersecurity, and Innovation, ensuring full alignment with corporate strategies, objectives, programs and organizational growth. This role drives both short- and long-term goals to achieve operational efficiency, business continuity, and sustainable success under the authority of the Chief PT&C Officer.
- Oversees the organization’s IDS strategy and operating model, including ERP systems, digital transformation initiatives, and strategic IT sourcing, to establish and maintain a cohesive digital ecosystem and capabilities.
- Responsible for all aspects of cybersecurity governance, standards, and solutions. Provides vision and leadership to safeguard critical assets, data, and systems against threats, ensuring robust cybersecurity assurance.
- Leading the development and implementation of innovative technology strategies, fostering the adoption of emerging technologies and practices that enhance departmental efficiency and reliability. Accountable for providing strategic guidance across entire organization, driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth.
- The position will act by OQGN’s mission, vision, values, policies, and guidelines, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Oman government and other legal justifications and best international practices aligned with National objectives.
