Open Position

• Security Investigator (Criminal Fraud Investigator - CFI)

• Vacancy Announcement Number: MUSCAT-2025-002S

Responsibilities

• Conduct sensitive, routine, and complex criminal investigations regarding counterfeit or forged travel documents.

• Investigate cases related to human trafficking, smuggling, and U.S. fugitive extraditions.

• Identify and probe instances of identity theft, bribery, extortion, conspiracy, and misrepresentation.

• Combat malfeasance and monitor terrorist travel patterns within the Consular Section.

• Work under the direct supervision of the Overseas Criminal Investigator (OCI) to maintain the highest security standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in criminal investigation or security-related fields.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with extreme confidentiality and professionalism.

• High level of proficiency in required languages (English and Arabic).

• Detailed educational background and technical training relevant to fraud detection or criminal justice.

• Proficiency in using Google Chrome for the Electronic Recruitment Application (ERA) system.

• التحقيق في القضايا المتعلقة بالاتجار بالبشر، والتهريب، وتسليم الفارين من العدالة الأمريكية.

• تحديد والتحقيق في حالات سرقة الهوية، الرشوة، الابتزاز، المؤامرة، والتزوير.

• مكافحة سوء السلوك ومراقبة أنماط سفر الإرهابيين داخل القسم القنصلي.

• العمل تحت الإشراف المباشر للمحقق الجنائي في الخارج (OCI) للحفاظ على أعلى معايير الأمن.

المتطلبات

• خبرة مثبتة في التحقيق الجنائي أو المجالات المتعلقة بالأمن.

• القدرة على التعامل مع المعلومات الحساسة بسرية تامة واحترافية عالية.

• مستوى عالٍ من الإتقان في اللغات المطلوبة (الإنجليزية والعربية).

• خلفية تعليمية مفصلة وتدريب تقني ذو صلة بكشف الاحتيال أو العدالة الجنائية.
