Join TransPerfect Games – Freelance English→Norwegian Game Translators

Are you passionate about gaming and experienced in translation? TransPerfect Games is seeking freelance English to Norwegian gaming translators to collaborate on exciting localization projects. You will work on titles ranging from indie games to AAA releases, ensuring the best gaming experience for Norwegian players.

What We’re Looking For:

• Native-level proficiency in Norwegian

• Strong command of English

• Deep passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology

• Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization (English→Norwegian)

• Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games

• Skilled in CAT tools (preferably memoQ)

• Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment

Minimum Requirements (Meet at least ONE):

• Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)

• 2+ years of translation experience plus a college degree

• 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)

• Translation certification issued by an appropriate government body

• شهادة ترجمة صادرة من جهة حكومية مختصة
