What is the role about?
We are looking for an experienced English-to-French Translator with a strong background in crypto and/or financial product localisation to join our freelance team. In this role, you will help us deliver engaging, high-quality content tailored to the French market.
You will collaborate closely with our Localisation Manager to ensure that our app, website, and user communications resonate naturally with our audience in France while maintaining consistency across the entire user journey. At Bitvavo, product linguists support the localisation of various content types, including UX copy, user communications, and crypto-related educational resources.
How will you make an impact?

Localise and adapt UX content from English to French, including in-app user journeys, notifications, asset descriptions, and more.

Ensure that localised content aligns with Bitvavo’s tone, style, and brand voice guidelines to create intuitive user experiences for our French-speaking users.

Provide linguistic feedback on designs and feature flows to improve the localised user experience.

Support localised glossary maintenance and ensure consistency in all product touchpoints.
How will you be successful?

Fully fluent French speaker with high-level English proficiency

2+ years of experience within crypto or financial services localisation into French

Strong understanding of France’s culture and market preferences, with the ability to adapt content while preserving the underlying message
