The College of Banking and Financial Studies (CBFS), in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, is pleased to announce the availability of the following job opportunities:

• 1- Assistant Professor Data Science
• 2- Assistant Professor - Human Resources Management
• 3- Lecturer - Accounting/Finance

General Requirements for All Positions:

• The applicant must be medically fit to perform the duties of the position.
• The applicant must possess good conduct and behavior.
• All academic qualifications submitted must be issued by accredited institutions of higher education. If obtained from outside the Sultanate of Oman, they must be recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
• Academic certificates awarded by private higher education institutions within Oman must be approved by the Directorate General of Private Universities and Colleges at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
• The applicant must not have been previously convicted of any felony or of a crime involving honor or trust, unless officially rehabilitated.
• The applicant must not be currently employed in any entity within the State's administrative apparatus.

Assistant Professor - Data Science / Artificial Intelligence

Qualifications and Job Requirments:

• 1. Applicants must have a PhD in Data Science/Artificial Intelligence/ Computer Science from a reputable university.
• 2. Applicants must have Master's and Bachelor's degrees in the same discipline (Data Science/Artificial Intelligence/Computer Science) from reputable universities.
• 3. Applicants must have minimum of two years' experience (post PhD) in teaching, research and community service in higher education.
• 4. Applicants should have a strong record of accomplishment in research publications, and demonstrates abilities to secure competitive research funding.
• 5. Applicants should have excellent oral and written communication skills (in English).
• 6. Applicants with industry experience and professional certification in Data Science/Artificial Intelligence will be given preference.

*The appointment at the level of Assistant Professor, but exceptional candidates will be considered for higher levels depending on qualifications and relevant experience.

Assistant Professor Human Resources Management

Qualifications and Job Requirments:

• 1. Applicants must have a PhD in Human Resources Management from a reputable university.
• 2. Applicants must have Master's and Bachelor's degrees in the same discipline (Human Resources Management/Management) from reputable universities.
• 3. Applicants must have minimum two years' experience (post PhD) in teaching, research and community service in higher education.
• 4. Applicants should have a strong record of accomplishment in research publications, and demonstrated abilities to secure competitive funding.
• 5. Applicants should have excellent oral and written communication skills (in English).
• 6. Applicants with industry experience and professional certification in Human Resources Management will be given preference.

• 3. Applicants must have minimum of five years' experience in teaching professional certificates in higher education institutions or recognized training centers.
• 4. Applicants should have excellent oral and written communication skills (in English).
• 5. Applicants with industry experience and professional certification in Accounting/ Auditing/Finance will be given preference.

المتطلبات العامة لجميع الوظائف:

• يجب أن يكون المتقدم لائقًا طبيًا للقيام بمهام الوظيفة.
• - أن يتمتع المتقدم بحسن السيرة والسلوك.
• يجب أن تكون جميع المؤهلات الأكاديمية المُقدمة صادرة عن مؤسسات تعليم عالٍ معتمدة. في حال الحصول عليها من خارج سلطنة عُمان، يجب أن تكون مُعترفًا بها من قِبل وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي والابتكار.

أستاذ مساعد - علوم البيانات / الذكاء الاصطناعي

المؤهلات ومتطلبات الوظيفة:

• 1. يجب أن يكون المتقدمون حاصلين على درجة الدكتوراه في علوم البيانات / الذكاء الاصطناعي / علوم الكمبيوتر من جامعة مرموقة.
• 2. يجب أن يكون المتقدمون حاصلين على درجة الماجستير والبكالوريوس في نفس التخصص (علوم البيانات / الذكاء الاصطناعي / علوم الكمبيوتر) من جامعات مرموقة.
• 3. يجب أن يكون لدى المتقدمين خبرة لا تقل عن عامين (بعد الدكتوراه) في التدريس والبحث والخدمة المجتمعية في التعليم العالي.
• 4. يجب أن يكون لدى المتقدمين سجل قوي من الإنجازات في المنشورات البحثية، ويظهرون القدرة على تأمين تمويل بحثي تنافسي.
• 5. يجب أن يتمتع المتقدمون بمهارات ممتازة في التواصل الشفهي والكتابي (باللغة الإنجليزية).
• 6. سيتم إعطاء الأفضلية للمتقدمين الذين لديهم خبرة في الصناعة وشهادة مهنية في علوم البيانات / الذكاء الاصطناعي.

المؤهلات ومتطلبات الوظيفة:

• 1. يجب أن يكون المتقدمون حاصلين على درجة الدكتوراه في إدارة الموارد البشرية من جامعة مرموقة.
• 2. يجب أن يكون المتقدمون حاصلين على درجة الماجستير والبكالوريوس في نفس التخصص (إدارة الموارد البشرية / الإدارة) من جامعات مرموقة.
• 3. يجب أن يكون لدى المتقدمين خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين (بعد الدكتوراه) في التدريس والبحث والخدمة المجتمعية في التعليم العالي.
• 4. يجب أن يكون لدى المتقدمين سجل قوي من الإنجازات في المنشورات البحثية، وإظهار قدراتهم على تأمين التمويل التنافسي.
• 5. يجب أن يتمتع المتقدمون بمهارات ممتازة في التواصل الشفهي والكتابي (باللغة الإنجليزية).

المؤهلات ومتطلبات الوظيفة:

• 1. يجب أن يكون لدى المتقدمين درجة الماجستير في المحاسبة / المالية من جامعة مرموقة.
• 2. يجب أن يكون المتقدم حاصلاً على درجة البكالوريوس في نفس التخصص (المحاسبة / المالية) من جامعة مرموقة.
• 3. يجب أن يكون لدى المتقدمين خبرة لا تقل عن خمس سنوات في تدريس الشهادات المهنية في مؤسسات التعليم العالي أو مراكز التدريب المعترف بها.
• 4. يجب أن يتمتع المتقدمون بمهارات ممتازة في التواصل الشفهي والكتابي (باللغة الإنجليزية).
• 5. سيتم إعطاء الأفضلية للمتقدمين الذين لديهم خبرة في الصناعة وشهادة مهنية في المحاسبة / التدقيق / المالية.
