• Operating from fully equipped marine base in Abu Dhabi, our comprehensive offshore marine support includes anchor handling, project cargo transportation, platform supply, crew changes and supplies, as well as rig moves and tug & barge operations. 

• Operations are supported by our growing fleet of anchor handling tug supply vessels, anchor handling tugs, crew boats, tow tugs, barges, utility vessels and landing craft.
• We have the flexibility to respond to your needs for equipment modification efficiently and cost-effectively. Our expert crew, maintenance and other land-based staff are at hand to facilitate short turn-around times for class surveys, repairs and maintenance.

Operations Coordinator

•  Ensure timely, accurate and effective management of services and supplies to vessels as required by owners.
•  Coordinate effectively with port operations staff to ensure smooth delivery of services and handling of vessel operations.
•  Communicate with principals effectively and provide timely, accurate reports to assist in future voyage planning.

•  Organise and maintain ship files methodically and ensure all records are up-to-date for easy reference.
•  Timely and accurate input of port call data to the GAC agent shipping system to ensure real-time up-to-date information.
•  Serve as a role model by upholding GAC Code of Ethics, display GAC Sprit and act in the best interests of GAC in Oman and beyond.
•  Perform any other duties requested or delegated by manager to maintain service levels.

Job Requirements

•  1-2 years of qualified experience in shipping operations or a similar function.
•  Minimum of Diploma or Bachelor degree holder.
•  Knowledge of Oman’s customs rules and regulations.
•  Good English communication skills – both written and verbal.
•  Basic knowledge of computing software especially in MS Office & Outlook.
•  Good work ethic and ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
•  Cultural awareness for working with people from various cultures and backgrounds.
•  Omani driving licence will be considered an advantage.

•  ضمان إدارة الخدمات والإمدادات للسفن في الوقت المناسب وبدقة وفعالية حسب متطلبات المالكين.
•  التنسيق بشكل فعال مع موظفي عمليات الميناء لضمان تقديم الخدمات والتعامل مع عمليات السفن بسلاسة.
•  التواصل مع المديرين بشكل فعال وتقديم تقارير دقيقة في الوقت المناسب للمساعدة في تخطيط الرحلة المستقبلية.

•  تنظيم وصيانة ملفات السفينة بطريقة منهجية والتأكد من تحديث جميع السجلات لسهولة الرجوع إليها.
•  الإدخال الدقيق وفي الوقت المناسب لبيانات مكالمات الميناء إلى نظام الشحن التابع لوكيل GAC لضمان الحصول على معلومات محدثة في الوقت الفعلي.
•  العمل كقدوة من خلال الالتزام بقواعد أخلاقيات العمل في شركة GAC، وإظهار روح GAC والعمل بما يخدم مصالح شركة GAC في عُمان وخارجها.
•  أداء أي واجبات أخرى يطلبها أو يفوضها المدير للحفاظ على مستويات الخدمة.

متطلبات الوظيفة

•  1-2 سنة من الخبرة المؤهلة في عمليات الشحن أو وظيفة مماثلة.
•  - حاصل على شهادة الدبلوم أو البكالوريوس على الأقل.
•  - معرفة القواعد والأنظمة الجمركية في سلطنة عمان.
•  مهارات جيدة في التواصل باللغة الإنجليزية - سواء المكتوبة أو الشفهية.
•  المعرفة الأساسية ببرامج الحوسبة وخاصة MS Office و Outlook.
•  أخلاقيات العمل الجيدة والقدرة على الالتزام بسياسات الشركة وإجراءاتها.
