Head of Maintenance Turnaround Services

🎯 الهدف من الوظيفة

تحت الإشراف العام لنائب رئيس قسم الصيانة، يتولى مدير التحويلات (Turnarounds) إدارة التحضير، التنفيذ، والإغلاق لعمليات الإيقاف الدوري (Turnaround) لجميع مصانع OQ8 (مصفاة) بطريقة آمنة، صديقة للبيئة وفعالة من حيث التكلفة.

• إدارة وتنسيق أنشطة التحويل الدوري عبر المشرفين والمخططين لضمان سير الأعمال بكفاءة.

• إدارة عمليات إصلاح المعدات لضمان تشغيلها بأمان حتى دورة الإيقاف التالية، مع التركيز على الأداء الأمثل للسلامة والبيئة والصحة المهنية (EH&S).

🎯 Job Purpose

Under the general direction of the VP of Maintenance, the Turnaround Manager oversees the preparation, execution, and closure of periodic turnarounds for all OQ8 plants (refinery) in a safe, environmentally responsible, and cost-efficient manner.

• Manage and coordinate turnaround activities through subordinate supervisors/planners to ensure smooth operations.

• Manage equipment repair processes to ensure safe operation until the next turnaround cycle, focusing on excellent EH&S performance.

Drive routine planning and scheduling of maintenance services at OQ8 assets under the Team Leader Maintenance Planning, aiming to renew assets and maximize long-term value by:

1. Executing proper planning and scheduling of assigned tasks to avoid delays during execution, using computerized maintenance management systems for preventive maintenance.

2. Generating Work Orders in the system once requests are received and approved after quality review.

3. Setting up appropriate plans to avoid execution delays, contributing to maximum plant availability through cost and resource optimization.

✅ Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Execute the Preventive Maintenance Program using a computerized maintenance management system/software.

• Generate Work Orders in the system once requests are received and approved after quality review.

• Coordinate equipment downtime.

• Prepare work packages for every planned maintenance activity including repetitive maintenance.

• Assist with the development of annual overhaul/shutdown schedules.

• Communicate with the Work Requestor for complete clarity on work to be executed.

• Discuss with Operations how the work will be performed and what will be required.

Execute Maintenance Rotating Works across OQ8 sites and all related operations under the Manager Maintenance Rotary (MRM) scope as a Technical Service provider for maintenance and execution of minor projects and modifications according to the technical standards set by TSD to maintain assets by:

1. Designing maintenance rotating services for planned/unplanned works utilizing best practices.

2. Coordinating and supervising assets, products, and maintenance work in the designated area.

3. Implementing plans and coordinating maintenance works to ensure plant equipment availability, reliability, optimization, and smooth operations to meet operational targets.

🛠️ Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the reliability team for any consultation or site visits.

• Responsible and accountable for maintenance and upkeep of all rotary equipment in the assigned area to ensure highest reliability and availability.

• Develop Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMP) for all rotary equipment in the area considering vendor manuals, international best practices, codes, standards, and guidelines issued by TSD.

• Ensure availability of special tools, materials, and skilled manpower for planned and corrective repairs daily.

• Attend internal meetings (Operations, TSD, Planning, and other involved departments) to discuss and proactively resolve issues and prioritize work.

• Provide inputs for maintenance contract development and administration, technical evaluation of RFQs, and control and availability of resources.
