Patient Care Lead (Oman)

Position Purpose

The Patient Care Lead (PCL) will lead and manage the Patient Care Team to implement and oversee drug access programs in the region. The role includes providing operational guidance for access programs and representing Axios in daily meetings with patients and doctors. Duties will involve both fieldwork and office-based administrative tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the Patient Care Team effectively in implementing drug access programs by coordinating with hospitals, pharmacies, and patients.

• Liaise with Axios Regional and Headquarters teams as required.

• Ensure eligibility criteria for all programs are strictly followed.

• Maintain compliance with Axios Standard Operating Policies and Procedures (SOPPs).

• Ensure timely enrollment of eligible patients according to program workflows and timelines.

• Collaborate with the Axios team to anticipate challenges and continuously improve operations.

Position Purpose

The Home Health Physiotherapist provides comprehensive physiotherapy care in community settings to help patients achieve optimal health and quality of life, especially in chronic disease cases. This role manages physiotherapy care for individuals or families through community or In-Patient Support Programs, following Axios International policies and established physiotherapy standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Service Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physiotherapy services as per physician orders and care plans.

• Assess patients’ physical conditions to diagnose musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiothoracic issues due to injury, disease, or surgery in a home care setting.

• Evaluate patients’ needs for physiotherapy related to physical disabilities.

• Develop personalized treatment plans using exercises, stretching, hands-on therapy, and equipment to reduce pain and improve mobility, ultimately enhancing quality of life.

• Work with patients over weeks or months, adapting treatment as necessary.
