GM - Finance & Strategy

• Key Responsibilities:

The purpose of the Finance General Manager is to have a detailed view of the company’s financial health and to control and manage funding requirements for the organization. In addition to handling the company’s finance, GMF is responsible for negotiation and having an adequate IT system in the company. The major purpose of any GMF is as follows:

• Providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the company’s financial commitments are met.

• Developing all necessary policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management and control of the company’s business.

Requirements:

• Driving the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.

• Retaining constant awareness of the company’s financial position and acting to prevent problems.

• Setting up and overseeing the company’s finance IT system.

• Ensuring timely review and submission of VAT and Tax returns to the relevant authorities.

• Direct and supervise his staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed and so that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.

• Contribute to the achievement of the company’s business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.

• Develop and control the company’s annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met, and financial and statutory regulations are complied with.

• Ensuring close relationship with Bank to have necessary funding as and when required and using investment opportunities for investing excess funds.

• Provide financial advice and guidance to the company’s managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives.

• Forming a close working relationship with the CEO and other Executive and Non-Executives.

• Oversee the preparation of the company’s financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time.

• Develop and implement an internal audit programmed to ensure that the company complies with financial procedures and regulations.

• Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company.

Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best value to the company.

Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets its financial and legal obligations.

Ensure that the IT System in the company is of high standards and adequate security system is in place and well managed.

Responsible for preparation of FRD for ERP or IT Implementation and act as Functional consultant for the company.

Maintain relationships with external auditors and be responsible for investigating their findings and recommendations.

Execution of strategies devised by the CEO and Board of Directors through involvement and leadership with the team, as well as building profitable partnerships.

Oversee all operations and business activities for Supply Chain to ensure the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and company mission, as and when required by the management.

Overseeing the preparation of Five year Budgets planning for the business and evaluation with the development of annual budgets with the active support of the CEO, as well as periodic monitoring to determine progress and challenges encountered for the evaluation of daily performance metrics of the business to set financial targets.

Provide finance business partner support on in-business cost drivers and act as the cost management expert to lead on Finance change projects to improve systems, processes and challenge of forecasts and actual performance i.e., Cost Accounting, Product costing, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition to develop the corporate fundraising strategy.

To explore, study, and develop investment opportunities and to lead the investment committee.

To be an active member of any established committee in the company when required. E.g., HR, etc.

الغرض من المدير العام للمالية هو الحصول على رؤية مفصلة لصحة الشركة المالية والتحكم في متطلبات التمويل وإدارتها للمنظمة. بالإضافة إلى التعامل مع الشؤون المالية للشركة، يكون المدير العام للمالية مسؤولاً عن التفاوض وتوفير نظام تكنولوجيا معلومات ملائم في الشركة. وتشمل الأغراض الرئيسية لأي مدير عام للمالية ما يلي:

• تقديم التوجيه الاستراتيجي والمالي لضمان الوفاء بالالتزامات المالية للشركة.

• تطوير جميع السياسات والإجراءات اللازمة لضمان الإدارة المالية السليمة والسيطرة على أعمال الشركة.

المتطلبات:

• قيادة التخطيط المالي للشركة من خلال تحليل الأداء والمخاطر.

• الحفاظ على وعي دائم بالموقف المالي للشركة واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لمنع المشكلات.

• إعداد والإشراف على نظام تكنولوجيا المعلومات المالي للشركة.

• ضمان مراجعة وتقديم ضريبة القيمة المضافة والإقرارات الضريبية إلى الجهات المختصة في الوقت المناسب.

• توجيه والإشراف على الموظفين لضمان تحفيزهم وتطويرهم بشكل مناسب للقيام بمسؤولياتهم وفقًا للمعايير المطلوبة.

• المساهمة في تحقيق أهداف العمل من خلال تقديم المشورة والتوجيه بشأن الاستراتيجية المالية.

• إعداد والسيطرة على الميزانية التشغيلية السنوية لضمان تحقيق الأهداف المالية والامتثال للوائح المالية والقانونية.

• ضمان وجود علاقة قوية بالبنك للحصول على التمويل اللازم عند الحاجة واستخدام الفرص الاستثمارية لاستثمار الأموال الفائضة.

• تقديم المشورة المالية والتوجيه للمديرين والموظفين لتحقيق أهدافهم.

• إنشاء علاقة عمل وثيقة مع الرئيس التنفيذي والتنفيذيين وغير التنفيذيين الآخرين.

• الإشراف على إعداد الحسابات المالية للشركة لضمان تقديمها بدقة وفي الوقت المناسب.

• تطوير وتنفيذ برنامج تدقيق داخلي لضمان التزام الشركة بالإجراءات واللوائح المالية.

• تطوير والحفاظ على جميع الأنظمة والسياسات والإجراءات اللازمة لضمان إدارة مالية فعالة وكفؤة داخل الشركة.

مراقبة العقود والخدمات الخارجية المقدمة من الموردين لضمان عملها بشكل فعال وتقديم أفضل قيمة للشركة.

تنفيذ كافة الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان التزام الشركة بالتزاماتها المالية والقانونية.

ضمان أن نظام تكنولوجيا المعلومات في الشركة يتمتع بمعايير عالية وأن نظام الأمان كافٍ ومُدار بشكل جيد.

مسؤول عن إعداد متطلبات الأعمال التفصيلية (FRD) لتنفيذ أنظمة ERP أو تكنولوجيا المعلومات والعمل كمستشار وظيفي للشركة.

الحفاظ على العلاقات مع المراجعين الخارجيين ومسؤول عن التحقيق في نتائجهم وتوصياتهم.

تنفيذ الاستراتيجيات التي يضعها الرئيس التنفيذي ومجلس الإدارة من خلال المشاركة والقيادة مع الفريق، بالإضافة إلى بناء شراكات مربحة.

الإشراف على جميع العمليات والأنشطة التجارية لسلسلة التوريد لضمان تحقيق النتائج المرجوة والتوافق مع الاستراتيجية العامة ورسالة الشركة، وذلك حسب طلب الإدارة.

الإشراف على إعداد تخطيط الميزانيات لخمس سنوات للأعمال وتقييمها مع تطوير الميزانيات السنوية بدعم فعال من الرئيس التنفيذي، بالإضافة إلى المتابعة الدورية لتحديد التقدم والتحديات التي تواجه تقييم مؤشرات الأداء اليومية للأعمال من أجل تحديد الأهداف المالية.

تقديم الدعم كشريك مالي في الأعمال فيما يخص محركات التكلفة والعمل كخبير إدارة التكاليف لقيادة مشاريع التغيير المالي لتحسين الأنظمة والعمليات والتحدي في التوقعات والأداء الفعلي مثل: محاسبة التكاليف، تكاليف المنتجات، محاسبة المخزون والاعتراف بالإيرادات لتطوير استراتيجية جمع الأموال للشركة.

استكشاف ودراسة وتطوير فرص الاستثمار وقيادة لجنة الاستثمار.

أن يكون عضوًا فعالًا في أي لجنة مؤسسة في الشركة عند الحاجة، مثل لجنة الموارد البشرية وغيرها.
