Operations Coordinator Wanted in Sultanate of Oman – Navigate Shipping with Precision!

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, accurate, and effective management of services and supplies to vessels as per owners’ needs.

• Coordinate with port operations staff to guarantee seamless service delivery and vessel handling.

• Communicate with principals, providing clear and timely reports to support future voyage planning.

• Maintain ship files methodically and keep all records updated and organized.

• Input port call data accurately into the GAC agent shipping system for real-time updates.

• Act as a role model by upholding the GAC Code of Ethics, embracing GAC Spirit, and acting in the best interests of GAC Oman and beyond.

• Perform additional duties as requested or assigned by management to maintain service excellence.

Ideal Candidate

• 1–2 years of qualified experience in shipping operations or a similar function.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree.

• Knowledge of Oman’s customs rules and regulations.

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

• Basic computing skills, especially MS Office and Outlook.

• Strong work ethic and adherence to company policies.

• Cultural awareness for working in diverse environments.

• Possessing an Omani driving license is a plus.

المهام الوظيفية

• ضمان إدارة فعالة ودقيقة للخدمات والإمدادات الموجهة للسفن حسب متطلبات المالكين.

• التنسيق مع موظفي عمليات الميناء لضمان تقديم الخدمات والتعامل مع السفن بسلاسة.

• التواصل الفعّال مع العملاء الرئيسيين وتقديم تقارير دقيقة وفي الوقت المناسب لدعم خطط الرحلات المستقبلية.

• تنظيم ملفات السفن بشكل منهجي والتأكد من أن جميع السجلات محدثة وسهلة الرجوع إليها.

• إدخال بيانات النداءات المينائية بدقة في نظام الشحن الخاص بوكيل GAC لضمان معلومات محدثة في الوقت الفعلي.

• تمثيل الشركة كنموذج يُحتذى به من خلال الالتزام بمدونة الأخلاقيات الخاصة بـ GAC وإظهار روح GAC والعمل لصالح الشركة في سلطنة عمان وخارجها.

• تنفيذ أي مهام إضافية يكلفك بها المدير للحفاظ على مستوى الخدمة.

الشروط

• من سنة إلى سنتين خبرة في عمليات الشحن أو وظيفة مشابهة.

• حاصل على دبلوم أو شهادة بكالوريوس.

• معرفة بقوانين وأنظمة الجمارك في سلطنة عمان.

• مهارات قوية في اللغة الإنجليزية – كتابة وتحدثًا.

• معرفة أساسية باستخدام برامج الحاسوب وخاصة MS Office وOutlook.

• الالتزام بسلوك العمل والانضباط وفق سياسات الشركة.

• الوعي الثقافي والقدرة على التعامل مع مختلف الجنسيات والخلفيات.

• رخصة قيادة عمانية تعتبر ميزة إضافية.
