Commercial Manager Existing Asset

Location: OQEP
Job Purpose:
-
Support the Head of Commercial in leading the end-to-end process/activity related to Upstream Commercial Opportunities at Business OQ and the assigned team.
-
Act as a key contributor to Commercial standards, through supporting Business Development in the formulation of OQ Upstream Commercial strategies and assisting in setting/management of performance targets.
-
Review annual and revised budgets for Commercial and provide written summaries of analyses to Upstream management prior to approval by Joint Operating/Management Committees.
-
Oversee the Commercial team and its KPIs, and assist in the negotiation and development of Commercial agreements for E&P businesses portfolio.
-
Participate in new asset acquisition studies by advising on economic estimation basis and assessing contractual obligations to ensure the optimum and sustainable net back for OQEP.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Support in leading strategic growth initiatives for the development of new business areas.

Assist in conducting commercial negotiations on key aspects of projects and transactions.
-
Provide guidance for identifying growth opportunities and addressing shortfalls.
-
Support in overseeing the Commercial team in managing operations and agreements for E&P businesses.
-
Represent OQEP at Partner meetings and Joint Venture committees, as delegated.

Participate in new asset acquisition studies, advising on economic estimation and assessing contractual obligations.

Support the development and negotiation of new agreements in adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Assist in the management of department resources, planning, and setting KPIs for the team.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
Language Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required), Arabic - Native (desirable)
Competencies and Skills:

12+ years of experience in a similar position

Well-rounded professional with strong background in Commercial and Business Development

Exposure to IOC environments is a positive requirement

At least 5 years of techno-commercial exposure to developing Upstream Commercial Agreements

Solid project development experience (8+ years) in advisory/consulting roles
-
Experience analyzing and selecting technologies for new assets

Production Operator
Oil & Energy
Location: Block 8 (Offshore)
Job Purpose:
-
Operates Block 8 facilities under delegated authority from TL Production - B-8.
-
Ensures optimum plant availability and maximizes operational efficiency, reliability, and safety by conducting regular inspections and addressing operational anomalies.
-
Provides operational support to MOGC facilities, ensuring equipment availability and reliability. Leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for operational and maintenance activities.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
-
Ensure continuity of operational issues and take necessary action.
-
Conduct routine inspections of rotating and static equipment to ensure proper functioning.
-
Adjust valves and switches controlling fluid/gas flow rates, pressure, temperature, and chemicals.
-
Troubleshoot process upsets and abnormalities.
-
Record and share findings of field data readings and deviations from standard conditions.
-
Facilitate shutdowns and startups for turnaround and maintenance as per SOPs.
-
Provide support during emergencies as per operational leader’s instructions.
-
Facilitate a safe working environment for maintenance work.
-
Ensure adherence to Permit to Work (PTW) conditions.
-
Perform maintenance work such as greasing, lube oil replacement, and generator maintenance.

Support offshore field production operations from an HSSE perspective.
-
Maintain communication with MOGC, MGP, Government Bodies in Musandam, suppliers, and contractors.

هدف الوظيفة:

تشغيل منشآت Block 8 وفقًا للتوجيهات المقررة.

ضمان توافر المصنع وتعظيم الكفاءة التشغيلية والموثوقية والسلامة من خلال إجراء الفحوصات المنتظمة ومعالجة أي خلل في العمليات.

تقديم الدعم التشغيلي لمنشآت MOGC وضمان توافر المعدات وموثوقيتها. قيادة فريق متعدد التخصصات مسؤول عن العمليات والصيانة.
المهام والمسؤوليات الرئيسية:

ضمان استمرارية المشاكل التشغيلية واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.
-
إجراء فحوصات روتينية للأجهزة الدوارة والثابتة لضمان عملها بشكل صحيح.
-
تعديل الصمامات والمفاتيح للتحكم في تدفق السوائل والغازات ومستويات الضغط ودرجة الحرارة.

المساهمة في معالجة المشاكل والاضطرابات في العمليات.

تسجيل ومشاركة البيانات الميدانية التي تم الحصول عليها من المعدات في المنطقة المحددة.

تسهيل عمليات الإغلاق والانطلاق لأغراض الصيانة والفحص وفقًا للإجراءات التشغيلية القياسية.

توفير الدعم خلال حالات الطوارئ حسب التعليمات.
