Associate Professor / Assistant Professor
Physical Metallurgy and Extractive Metallurgy

Minimum Requirement:

• PhD in Metallurgical Engineering / Materials Engineering

• M.Sc. (Materials Science) from any recognized University

• Post-doctoral research experience of a minimum 4 years in research and development

• Experience as a group leader in an international group

• Independent research career in the above two fields

• Outstanding experience in analytical instruments and analytical methods

• Skills in writing research papers, proofreading, and editing of manuscripts

• Skills in fundraising and research proposal writing

• Strong English language skills

• Ability to work in a team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in accordance with the research profile defined in the job description

• Utilize expert knowledge and skills in designing, fabrication, and mechanical testing of alloys

• Integrate materials fabrication into high-quality academic research

• Establish scientific collaboration with external institutions

• Contribute to fundraising

• مهنة بحثية مستقلة في المجالين المذكورين أعلاه

• خبرة متميزة في الأدوات التحليلية والأساليب التحليلية

• مهارات في كتابة الأبحاث وتدقيقها وتحرير المخطوطات

• مهارات في جمع التبرعات وكتابة مقترحات البحث

• مهارات قوية في اللغة الإنجليزية

• القدرة على العمل ضمن فريق

المسؤوليات:

• إجراء البحوث وفقا لملف البحث المحدد في الوصف الوظيفي

• استخدام المعرفة والمهارات المتخصصة في تصميم وتصنيع واختبار السبائك الميكانيكية

• دمج تصنيع المواد في البحث الأكاديمي عالي الجودة

• إقامة تعاون علمي مع المؤسسات الخارجية

Minimum Requirement:

• PhD in the field of specialization (Master's degree & Bachelor's degree should be in the same field of general specialization) from a recognized university

• 3–5 years teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field

• 5–10 research publications in peer-reviewed journals

• Strong and broad experience in curriculum development, accreditation process, institutional partnership/linkages, academic advising, strategic and operational planning, quality management, and organization of conferences, seminars, workshops, and exhibitions

• Potential to establish an active research program involving undergraduate and Masters-level students

• Ability to maintain a dynamic extramurally funded research program

• Knowledge of contemporary teaching practices and E-learning

• Must pass the personal interview according to University criteria

• خبرة قوية وواسعة في تطوير المناهج، وعملية الاعتماد، والشراكة/الروابط المؤسسية، والاستشارات الأكاديمية، والتخطيط الاستراتيجي والتشغيلي، وإدارة الجودة، وتنظيم المؤتمرات والندوات وورش العمل والمعارض

• إمكانية إنشاء برنامج بحثي نشط يضم طلاب البكالوريوس والماجستير

• القدرة على الحفاظ على برنامج بحثي ديناميكي ممول من خارج الجامعة

• معرفة ممارسات التدريس المعاصرة والتعلم الإلكتروني
