Marine Technician in Oman: Ensure Safe & Compliant Marine Operations with a Leading Energy Company
Role Overview
As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of marine systems, including tank preparation, cargo bunkering, and offloading operations. You will play a key role in ensuring that all marine operations comply with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Marine Operations & Safety
Carry out daily marine activities to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation of assets with minimal environmental impact.
Perform marine operations according to established operating procedures, advising leadership of any emergent risks.
Control of Work & Compliance
Ensure all work activities are carried out in compliance with the Production and Operations Control of Work procedure.
Monitor plant conditions and perform basic care for equipment.
Training & Development
Complete required competency training and assessments to maintain proficiency.
Performance & Optimisation
Supervise and control marine operations equipment, ensuring all operations stay within parameters specified in the Operations Manual/Procedures.
Identify opportunities for optimisation of plant and equipment performance and communicate with leadership and the OSTL team.
Safe Marine Operations
Ensure all marine operations follow BP HSSE and Operating Discipline expectations.
Execute marine operating tasks efficiently, following SOPs, MOCs, and safety procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in marine operations or a related field.
Strong understanding of marine systems, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

التدريب والتطوير
إكمال التدريب المطلوب لتطوير المهارات وتقييمات الكفاءة للحفاظ على الاحترافية.
الأداء والتحسين
الإشراف على المعدات البحرية والعمليات لضمان بقاء جميع العمليات ضمن المعايير المحددة في دليل العمليات/الإجراءات.
تحديد الفرص لتحسين أداء المعدات والنباتات وإبلاغ القيادة وفريق OSTL.
العمليات البحرية الآمنة
ضمان تنفيذ جميع العمليات البحرية وفقًا لتوقعات BP HSSE و التخصصات التشغيلية.
تنفيذ مهام التشغيل البحرية بكفاءة، مع الالتزام بالإجراءات التشغيلية القياسية (SOPs) و إجراءات السلامة.
المؤهلات والمهارات
خبرة في العمليات البحرية أو مجال ذي صلة.
فهم قوي للنظم البحرية و إجراءات السلامة و اللوائح البيئية.
القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل وكجزء من فريق.
