Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cementing Engineer to manage and execute cementing operations in Oman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oil & gas well services, specifically in designing and supervising cementing jobs. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on challenging projects with a focus on safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute primary and remedial cementing operations

• Lead field operations and mentor junior engineers and crew members

• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of cementing equipment

• Liaise with clients and drilling teams to ensure job objectives are met

• Maintain operational reports and documentation for all cementing jobs

• Comply with company and client HSE policies and procedures

• Optimize cementing performance through innovative solutions and continuous improvement

Acid Mixing Supervisor

🎯 Knowledge Objective

The role requires knowledge of the general operation concepts of an Acid Mixing Plant, as well as acidization techniques and related systems in the oil and gas industry.

🛠️ Required Skills and Knowledge

• General knowledge of Acid Mixing Plant operation concepts.

• Basic knowledge of Acidization techniques and their applications.

• Knowledge of storage equipment installed at the acid mixing plant, including transfer pumps, valves, manifolds, and metering devices.

• Understanding the properties of chemicals used for stimulation and solvent treatments.

• Knowledge of acid-resistant piping, manifolds, and delivery hoses.

• Familiarity with the construction of acid storage tanks, including construction materials, internal details, and agitator motors.

• Knowledge of containment systems and safety protocols to be followed, including PPE to prevent environmental or land pollution.

• Ability to study the plan and prepare the acid recipe ready for pumping as per the plan.

• Knowledge of completion fluids used at the well site for drilling and workover operations.
