Job Title: Data Protection Lead (Omani Candidates Only)

Purpose

The Data Protection Lead is responsible for ensuring OMRAN’s compliance with data protection laws and regulations, safeguarding sensitive data, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance data privacy and security.
This role oversees data governance, assesses privacy-related risks, and fosters a culture of data protection awareness across OMRAN and its subsidiaries.
The role also acts as the primary contact for regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders regarding data protection matters.

Key Responsibilities

📜 Policy & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with Omani Data Protection Law, GDPR, and international privacy regulations.

• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization.

🔍 Risk Management & DPIAs

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate privacy risks.

• Oversee Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for projects involving personal data.

🤝 Collaboration & Oversight

• Liaise with regulators and legal bodies on compliance matters.

• Work with IT, Legal, and Business Units to implement privacy controls.

• Monitor third-party data processing for contractual and legal compliance.

🔐 Incident Response

• Develop and implement data breach response procedures.

• Investigate data breaches and coordinate reporting to regulatory bodies.

• Incorporate lessons learned into updated security protocols.

📚 Training & Awareness

• Develop and deliver training programs on data protection.

• Promote a privacy-conscious culture across the organization.

• Advise employees on data protection best practices.

📑 Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of data processing, risk assessments, and compliance activities.

• Report regularly to senior management on data protection posture.

• Support internal and external audits.

يتولى مسؤول حماية البيانات مسؤولية ضمان امتثال شركة عُمران (OMRAN) لقوانين ولوائح حماية البيانات، وحماية البيانات الحساسة، وتنفيذ السياسات والإجراءات التي تعزز من خصوصية وأمن المعلومات.
يشمل الدور الإشراف على حوكمة البيانات، وتقييم المخاطر المرتبطة بمعالجة البيانات، ونشر ثقافة الوعي بالخصوصية على مستوى الشركة وفروعها.
كما يُعتبر هذا الدور هو نقطة الاتصال الرئيسية مع الجهات التنظيمية والمساهمين الداخليين في جميع ما يخص حماية البيانات.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

📜 السياسات والامتثال

• تطوير وتنفيذ وصيانة سياسات حماية البيانات.

• ضمان الامتثال لقوانين حماية البيانات مثل قانون حماية البيانات العماني، واللائحة العامة لحماية البيانات (GDPR)، والأنظمة الدولية الأخرى.

• متابعة التحديثات في التشريعات وتقييم تأثيرها على الشركة.

🔍 إدارة المخاطر وتقييمات الأثر

• إجراء تقييمات دورية للمخاطر المتعلقة بحماية البيانات.

• الإشراف على تقييمات أثر حماية البيانات (DPIAs) للمشاريع التي تشمل معالجة بيانات شخصية.

🤝 التعاون والإشراف

• التنسيق مع الجهات التنظيمية والهيئات القانونية لضمان الامتثال.

• التعاون مع أقسام تكنولوجيا المعلومات، والقانونية، والأعمال لتنفيذ الضوابط الخاصة بحماية البيانات.

• متابعة أنشطة معالجة البيانات بواسطة أطراف ثالثة لضمان الامتثال التعاقدي والقانوني.

🔐 الاستجابة للحوادث

• تطوير وتنفيذ إجراءات الاستجابة لحوادث اختراق البيانات.

• التحقيق في الحوادث والتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة عند الإبلاغ.

• دمج الدروس المستفادة لتحسين الإجراءات المستقبلية.

📚 التدريب والوعي

• إعداد وتقديم برامج تدريبية في مجال حماية البيانات.

• تعزيز ثقافة الوعي بالخصوصية في جميع مستويات المنظمة.

• تقديم المشورة للموظفين حول أفضل الممارسات.

📑 التوثيق والتقارير

• الاحتفاظ بسجلات مفصلة لعمليات معالجة البيانات، وتقييمات المخاطر، وأنشطة الامتثال.

• تقديم تقارير منتظمة للإدارة العليا بشأن حالة حماية البيانات.

• دعم عمليات التدقيق الداخلي والخارجي ذات الصلة.
