Fabrication Technician - Lead

Role Purpose

The Fabrication Technician - Lead is responsible for maintaining and managing the inventory of prefabricated modular metal soft wall/hard wall structures, wooden, masonry, and associated equipment. This role involves sheet metal repairs to shelter equipment and fabricating repairs to various components of shelter and utility systems. The technician ensures that all work is compliant with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Principal Accountabilities

• Repairs, inspects, fabricates, cleans, operates, maintains, controls corrosion, and reconstitutes Bear Order of Battle (BOB) assets/equipment in accordance with Maintenance Action Sheets, Technical Orders, Manuals, Checklists, Regulations, Maintenance Action Sheets, and Unit Type Code (UTC) Configuration listings

• Performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs on ferrous and non-ferrous metal prefabricated shelter structures, including the assembly and dismantling of shelters

🛠️ Principal Accountabilities

• Perform CSC Inspections on containers as required.

• Coordinate, oversee, and monitor periodic inspections and maintenance services for assigned assets in the Bear Base Departments.

• Coordinate, oversee, and monitor civil engineering and other equipment for exercises or actual deployments in the Bear Base Departments.

• In the absence of the Power Production Supervisor, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair power generation equipment and related duties.

• Perform TDY (Temporary Duty) within the operational area as required.

• In coordination with the Bear Base Superintendent, schedule and coordinate all shop work assignments with the Work Control department.

✅ Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in managing and maintaining civil engineering equipment.

FHE Supervisor

Role Purpose

The FHE Supervisor is responsible for supervising personnel involved in the periodic maintenance, reconstitution, storage, and deployment of Fuels assets in compliance with USAF requirements. The supervisor implements procedures to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures, work instructions, USAF Technical Orders, industrial safety, and environmental policies

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections of Fuels workshops and work areas to ensure safety and adherence to applicable directives

• Review and verify the status of all Fuels assets

• Identify asset deficiencies and submit Product Quality Deficiency Reports as required

• Submit Self Inspection Forms (SIF) detailing inspection findings when necessary

• Maintain accountability of all OEL and Non-OEL assets

• Assign and direct all shop work on Fuels to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity

• Supervise the troubleshooting and repair of Fuels assets

🎯 Role Purpose

The Vehicle Mechanic (SPV) inspects, repairs, maintains, and services military and commercial vehicles and equipment. The role performs all duties in accordance with mandatory USAF requirements and ensures compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

🛠️ Principal Accountabilities

• Conduct Limited Technical Inspections (LTI's) on assigned vehicles to determine the causes of malfunctions, extent of repairs needed, parts required, and repair cost.

• Repair or replace parts and assemblies.

• Realign and adjust systems on all aspects of motor vehicles, such as gasoline and diesel engines, manual and automatic transmissions, steering and braking systems, clutches, fluid flywheels and torque converters, axle hubs and bearings, fuel air and cooling systems, suspension, body work, and hydraulic systems.

• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and time using diagrams, manuals, special tools/meters/test equipment, electrical systems, pumps meters, injectors, distributors, air conditioning systems, and vehicle attachments.

• Service and perform preventive maintenance, renewing oils, filters, coolant, belts, and lubricants as directed on assigned vehicles.

• Complete maintenance forms such as work orders, parts requests, and maintenance sheets.

• Record data such as hours worked, work performed, speedometer readings, and parts used.

✅ Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in inspecting and maintaining military and commercial vehicles.

• Ability to diagnose faults and repair systems on a variety of vehicles.
