Company Description

 

The Ministry of Health is the primary healthcare provider in Oman, offering free medical treatment to over 2.5 million nationals. With over 200 healthcare institutions, including primary care centers, secondary care hospitals, and tertiary care super specialty hospitals, the MOH ensures comprehensive healthcare services. The MOH facilities have a bed capacity of over 4500 and handle approximately 30,000 patient visits daily.

  Role Description

   

This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant Pediatric Surgery at the Ministry of Health in Muscat. The Consultant Pediatric Surgeon will be responsible for performing surgical procedures on children, managing pre- and post-operative care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and participating in emergency medicine. Additionally, the role involves providing training to medical staff and working closely with physicians to ensure high standards of patient care.

  Qualifications

    

Skills in perfoming Pediatric Surgical procedures in neonates and children

. And has skills in minimal invasive surgeries like laparoscopy, thoracoscopy.

Proven ability to work alongside Physicians and other healthcare professionals

Strong background in providing Training to medical staff

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
