We are looking for a skilled Civil QAQC Engineer to ensure the highest quality standards in construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control, with expertise in compliance with international and local construction regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to plan and coordinate daily construction activities.
- Monitor and manage on-site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring efficient utilization and minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement project-specific Quality Management Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and tests (e.g., concrete, soil) to maintain quality control and adherence to regulations.
- Identify and resolve non-conformities, managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions effectively.
- Collaborate with project teams to plan and oversee daily construction activities and resource allocation.
- Maintain well-organized QA/QC documentation, including test reports, quality logs, and compliance records.
- Provide regular progress updates and quality performance reports to project stakeholders to maintain transparency and continuous improvement.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and compliance, ensuring that all work adheres to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of QA/QC experience in civil construction projects.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of local and international standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, BS, ISO).
- Hands-on experience in site supervision, material testing, and compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in QA/QC and project management software/tools.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
