Acute Medicine Consultant - Oman

Medical City for Military and Security Services - Muscat, Sultanate of Oman

Medical City for Military and Security Services (MCMSS) in Muscat is a tertiary/quaternary care facility providing services to patients of different age groups across various specialties. MCMSS is seeking a highly trained and motivated Acute Medicine Consultant to join the team and further develop their professional career.

Education/Qualifications

• Board certified in Internal Medicine or equivalent.
• Internship certificate.
• Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery certificate or equivalent.
• Current and clean medical license to practice in the country of origin/practice.

Experience Post-Qualifications

• At least 6 years of post-board certification experience in Internal Medicine.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide consultation in Acute Medicine.
• Participate in on-call duties as per department regulations.
• Engage in teaching students, residents, fellows, and allied healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to health education programs through orientation and scientific presentations.
• Adhere to policies, guidelines, plans, and programs of MCMSS.
• Perform all relevant interventions related to their field of specialization.
• Maintain clinical privileges and comply with assigned duties.
• Carry out other responsibilities as directed by the department head.

Compensation

• Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and the Oman Medical Bylaw.

المدينة الطبية للخدمات العسكرية والأمنية (MCMSS) في مسقط هي منشأة رعاية ثالثية/رباعية تقدم خدمات للمرضى من مختلف الفئات العمرية عبر مختلف التخصصات. تبحث المدينة الطبية للخدمات العسكرية والأمنية عن استشاري طب حاد مدرب وذو دافع كبير للانضمام إلى الفريق ومواصلة تطوير مسيرته المهنية.

التعليم/المؤهلات

• حاصل على شهادة البورد في الطب الباطني أو ما يعادله.
• شهادة تدريب.
• شهادة بكالوريوس الطب والجراحة أو ما يعادلها.
• رخصة طبية حالية ونظيفة لممارسة المهنة في بلد المنشأ/الممارسة.

الخبرة بعد المؤهلات

• ما لا يقل عن 6 سنوات من الخبرة بعد الحصول على شهادة المجلس في الطب الباطني.

واجبات ومسؤوليات الوظيفة

• تقديم الاستشارات في الطب الحاد.
• المشاركة في مهام الاستدعاء وفقًا لأنظمة القسم.
• المشاركة في تعليم الطلاب والمقيمين والزملاء ومقدمي الرعاية الصحية المتحالفة.
• المساهمة في برامج التثقيف الصحي من خلال التوجيه والعروض العلمية.
• الالتزام بالسياسات والمبادئ التوجيهية والخطط والبرامج الخاصة بـ MCMSS.
• إجراء جميع التدخلات ذات الصلة بمجال تخصصهم.
• الحفاظ على الامتيازات السريرية والالتزام بالواجبات الموكلة إليه.
• تنفيذ مسؤوليات أخرى حسب توجيهات رئيس القسم.
