We are excited to announce an exclusive Postgraduate Scholarship (Overseas) 2025 offering full sponsorship by PDO. This is an exceptional opportunity for Omani nationals to pursue a Master’s degree (MSc) at select overseas universities determined by PDO. Upon successful completion of the MSc program, you will be offered a 4-year job contract with PDO, along with enrollment in the prestigious Shababuna Program.
Key Details
- Full Sponsorship: PDO will cover the full cost of your MSc at a university selected by PDO (candidates cannot change universities once selected).
- Job Contract: A 4-year job contract will be offered upon successful completion of the MSc program.
- Shababuna Program: Selected candidates will be enrolled in PDO’s Shababuna Program upon successful completion of the MSc.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Omani Nationality: Only Omani nationals are eligible to apply.
- Educational Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI).
- Candidates with a Master's degree at the time of application will be disqualified.
- Minimum CGPA: A minimum cumulative CGPA of 3.00 and above (NO rounding up).
- English Proficiency: Applicants must have a UKVI IELTS certificate valid until December 2025 with an overall band score of 6.5 and no component score lower than 6.
- Note: Graduates from the UK, Ireland, US, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand are not required to submit the UKVI IELTS certificate during shortlisting, but may need to provide one if requested, with the same scores mentioned above. Failure to meet this requirement will result in disqualification.
- Work Experience: The candidate should have less than three years of overall work experience by the closing date of the advertisement.
- Subject Relevance: Eligibility is determined by the relevance of the subjects undertaken during the applicant's BSc program to the specialized majors offered by PDO. PDO reserves the right to determine subject relevance.
- Eligible Majors: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following majors (further details on eligible fields can be provided upon request).

يسرنا أن نعلن عن منحة دراسات عليا (دراسة خارجية) 2025 مع رعاية كاملة من PDO. إنها فرصة استثنائية للمواطنين العمانيين لمتابعة درجة الماجستير (MSc) في الجامعات الخارجية التي يتم تحديدها من قبل PDO. بعد إتمام البرنامج بنجاح، سيتم تقديم عقد عمل لمدة 4 سنوات مع PDO، بالإضافة إلى التسجيل في برنامج شبابنا المرموق.
تفاصيل المنحة

متطلبات التعليم والخبرة
- الجنسية العمانية: يجب أن يكون المتقدم من المواطنين العمانيين.
- المؤهلات التعليمية: يجب أن يكون المتقدم حائزًا على درجة البكالوريوس من مؤسسة تعليمية معترف بها من قبل وزارة التعليم العالي، البحث والابتكار (MoHERI).
- سيتم استبعاد المرشحين الحاصلين على درجة الماجستير في وقت تقديم الطلب.
- الحد الأدنى لمعدل التراكمي: يجب أن يكون لدى المتقدم معدل تراكمي إجمالي لا يقل عن 3.00 (دون تعديل أو رفع المعدل).
- إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية: يجب أن يكون لدى المتقدم شهادة UKVI IELTS سارية حتى ديسمبر 2025 بدرجة إجمالية 6.5 ولا يقل أي من مكونات الدرجة عن 6.
- ملاحظة: خريجو المملكة المتحدة و أيرلندا و الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية و أستراليا و كندا و نيوزيلندا غير مطالبين بتقديم شهادة UKVI IELTS خلال مرحلة الفرز، ولكن قد يُطلب منهم تقديم واحدة بعد التحديد وفقًا للدرجات المذكورة أعلاه. الفشل في الحصول عليها إذا كانت مطلوبة سيؤدي إلى الاستبعاد.
- الخبرة العملية: يجب أن يكون لدى المتقدم أقل من ثلاث سنوات من الخبرة العملية العامة في تاريخ إغلاق الإعلان.
- صلة التخصص: يتم تحديد أهلية المتقدمين بناءً على المواد التي تم دراستها في برنامج البكالوريوس ومدى صلتها بالتخصصات المتاحة من PDO. يحتفظ PDO بالحق في تحديد صلة المواد.
- التخصصات المؤهلة: يجب أن يكون لدى المتقدم درجة البكالوريوس في إحدى التخصصات التالية (سيتم توفير مزيد من التفاصيل حول التخصصات المؤهلة عند الطلب).
