Your Mission:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our Customer Experience team. In this role, you will create clear, concise, and accessible technical content primarily for internal stakeholders. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers, you will ensure that technical information is easily understandable by its intended audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, API guides, FAQs, and training materials.
- Simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
- Edit and proofread documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
- Manage and organize documentation repositories to ensure that documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Contribute to the creation of style guides, templates, and documentation standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends and tools to enhance documentation processes.
- Maintain a consistent style and tone of voice across all customer touchpoints.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, Content Developer, or in a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Madcap Flare, or Confluence.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand content.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- 3+ years of experience in a digital/tech environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and accessibility.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work both independently and collaboratively.
- A passion for writing and creating clear, user-friendly documentation.
