Position Overview
Based in Muscat, Oman, we are currently seeking an:

Accountant

Key Accountabilities

Accounting Transactions:

• Manage the accounting registers and record daily entries.
• Ensure the accuracy of provisions and accruals on a monthly basis.
• Issue invoices to customers when required.
• Responsible for asset management and ensure it is registered on time and conducted regularly.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.

Review and Reconciliation:

• Ensure proper reconciliation of all accounts on a monthly basis.
• Responsible for sending balance confirmations to all clients.
• Conduct regular inventory spot checks and stock counts.
• Complete reconciliation related to clients, suppliers, and cash in banks.

Daily Operations:

• Arrange payment schedules for suppliers when required and ensure they all have a statement of account.
• Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner when required by direct supervisor, ensuring valid and legal supporting documents.
• Ensure that receivables are collected promptly.
• Handle petty cash when required and ensure proper management.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.
• Follow accounting policies and procedures.

Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a relevant field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledgeable in international accounting rules.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Knowledge in the application of bookkeeping, accounts payable, general ledger, reconciliations, and related accounting functions.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, eager to learn, and improve.

محاسب

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

المعاملات المحاسبية:

• إدارة السجلات المحاسبية وتسجيل المعاملات اليومية.
• ضمان دقة المخصصات والإستحقاقات على أساس شهري.
• إصدار الفواتير للعملاء عند الحاجة.
• مسؤول عن إدارة الأصول والتأكد من تسجيلها في الوقت المحدد وإجراء التمارين بشكل منتظم.
• الحفاظ على نظام أرشفة محاسبي منظم.

المراجعة والمطابقة:

• ضمان مطابقة الحسابات بشكل صحيح على أساس شهري.
• مسؤول عن إرسال تأكيدات الأرصدة لجميع العملاء.
• إجراء فحص دوري للمخزون وحساب الكميات.
• إتمام المطابقات المتعلقة بالعملاء والموردين والنقد في البنوك.

العمليات اليومية:

• ترتيب جدول المدفوعات للموردين عند الحاجة والتأكد من حصولهم على بيان حساب.
• دفع فواتير الموردين في الوقت المحدد عند الطلب من المشرف المباشر والتأكد من وجود المستندات القانونية والصالحة.
• التأكد من تحصيل المدفوعات المستحقة بسرعة.
• التعامل مع النفقات الصغيرة عند الحاجة وضمان الإدارة السليمة لها.
• تقديم الدعم الإداري للادارة حسب الطلب.
• اتباع سياسات وإجراءات المحاسبة.

الملف الشخصي

• درجة بكالوريوس في المحاسبة أو إدارة الأعمال أو الاقتصاد أو مجال ذي صلة.
• 2-4 سنوات من الخبرة في دور مماثل.
• معرفة بالقواعد المحاسبية الدولية.
• قدرات تحليلية قوية.
• معرفة بتطبيقات المحاسبة مثل مسك الدفاتر، الحسابات المستحقة الدفع، دفتر الأستاذ العام، المطابقات، والوظائف المحاسبية ذات الصلة.
• دقيق في التفاصيل، دقيق، حريص على التعلم والتطوير الشخصي.
