Sr. Engineer - Production Scheduling in Oman ↔️

Join OQ8 in Duqm, Muscat, as a Senior Engineer for Production Scheduling! This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to play a crucial role in optimizing production processes and ensuring efficient operations.

Job Purpose

The Senior Engineer in Production Scheduling provides strong engineering support in operation scheduling and production planning and coordination. You will act as the main focal point between Commercial Optimization and the Refinery/Producing asset OQ8 for plant scheduling, reporting directly to the Team Lead of Production Scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Scheduling:
   Schedule day-to-day operations of production processes by coordinating the flow of materials, manpower, and equipment to optimize production efficiency and meet customer demand.

2. Safety Assurance:
   Ensure safe operations by overseeing the end-to-end process of production scheduling, including the functionality of all relevant units.

3. Communication:
   Lead direct communications with the production units for OQ8, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration in production efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in production scheduling within the oil and gas or manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of production planning processes and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Budget Control

• Responsible for managing OPEX and/or CAPEX and/or relevant revenue amounts as applicable.
