Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, Operations Management, Quantity Surveying, Economics, Law, Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Contract Engineering with a minimum of 10 years in a management – or supervisory position and preferably in the relevant area of portfolio or well engineering or projects delivery contracts.
- Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management within the oil and gas industry, with specific expertise in projects delivery.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively manage supplier relationships.

Senior Contracts Engineer (Four Years Contract)
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain HSE as priority through compliance to PDO house rule, PDO HSE golden rules and PDO LSR (life saving rules).
- Independently manage the full sourcing process from strategy development and implementation through prequalification, tendering up to award of contracts taking into account in-country value including constructive challenge of existing processes and procedures, timely involvement of PDO boards and stakeholders views and suggestions through tender board presentations with the aim of having a complete, clear and unambiguous tender document that will form the base for the final contract document.

Main Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site the execution of all well delivery activities on the assigned work unit, in compliance with Personal Health and Safety, Wells Process Safety and Environmental Protection Standards, as outlined in CP-122, Health, Safety and Environment Mgmt System – CoP and subordinate Standards; personally conduct related compliance assurance audits (e.g. on compliance with PR-1172, Permit to Work Procedure, training requirements established for personnel working on site, the lifting and lifted equipment registers, the Certificates of Conformance (CoC) etc.).
- Ensure that all people working on assigned work units develop a habit of identifying, mitigating and controlling all risks associated with the operation

المسؤوليات الرئيسية
- الإشراف على تنفيذ جميع أنشطة تسليم الآبار في الموقع على وحدة العمل المخصصة، بما يتوافق مع معايير الصحة والسلامة الشخصية وسلامة عملية الآبار وحماية البيئة، كما هو موضح في CP-122، نظام إدارة الصحة والسلامة والبيئة - CoP والمعايير التابعة؛ إجراء عمليات تدقيق ضمان الامتثال ذات الصلة شخصيًا (على سبيل المثال، الامتثال لـ PR-1172، إجراء تصريح العمل، متطلبات التدريب الموضوعة للموظفين العاملين في الموقع، سجلات الرفع والمعدات المرفوعة، شهادات المطابقة (CoC) وما إلى ذلك).
