Finance Manager Position in Oman ↔️
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to join our team in Oman. This role is perfect for finance professionals with a strong analytical background who can lead financial planning, manage budgets, and offer strategic insights. About the Role
As a Finance Manager, you’ll oversee financial planning processes, analyze trends, and provide strategic recommendations on spending and investment. This role requires managing a range of financial functions, ensuring internal controls, and presenting reports that support senior management’s decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business objectives.
• Conduct sensitivity and risk analyses, implementing strategies to mitigate financial risks.
• Review financial trends and provide insights on expenditure and investment decisions.
Risk Management and Compliance
• Ensure adequate insurance coverage and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks to secure necessary credit facilities, including bank guarantees.
• Oversee internal controls, policies, and procedures for optimal financial compliance.
• Direct and manage all audits related to accounting and administrative controls.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
• Lead a high-performing finance team, encouraging a collaborative and results-focused environment.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align financial and business objectives.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management for effective cost management.
Tax and Reporting
• Review tax submissions and ensure timely compliance with payment requirements.
• Prepare business activity reports and financial forecasts, and present timely, accurate analysis to management.
Requirements
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a finance or similar role, with at least 3 years in a professional services business.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and a comprehensive understanding of accounting functions.
• Experienced in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Strong financial planning skills and knowledge of annual budgeting.
• Familiarity with Project Administration and Percentage of Completion (PoC) methodologies.
