Deputy Dean
Location:
International College of Engineering and Management Muscat - Sultanate of Oman
Reports to:
The College's Dean.
Job Summary:
The Deputy Dean will play a pivotal role in supporting the Dean in the strategic management and leadership of the International College of Engineering and Management.
This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, academic expertise, and a strategic mindset to contribute to the overall success and growth of the institution.
The Deputy Dean will, under the supervision of the Dean, oversee the daily operation and collaborate closely with the Assistant Deans to implement strategic initiatives, foster academic excellence, and enhance the institution's reputation.
Qualifications:
• A PhD in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Significant experience in academic administration, leadership, and management in a higher education setting.
• Demonstrated track record of strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, intercultural and collaboration skills.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of diversity, equality and inclusion.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications and technology platforms.
