About the role:
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operation of business-critical features that add customer value on top of voice.
Best practices, evangelization, and mentoring in your team and across the whole of Engineering will be part of your day to day job.
Quality, excellence, and agility drive our delivery processes and you will help us level these up.
Using a variety of back-end stacks, appropriate for each requirement, but always hosted on AWS, we build added value and resilient services on top of voice and fully integrate with our customers’ business critical tools (CRM, Helpdesk, E-Commerce, ...).

Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for our customers
Have key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of key modules

As a Senior BE & AI Engineer , you will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operation of business-critical AI features that add customer value on top of Voice.
Engineering Team Lead
A little more about you:
Must have solid working experience in Node.js , Typescript & microservices
10+ years experience in Software development, including minimum 3 years in similar team lead positions
Solid experience in building & operating real-time, cloud based and scalable architecture (preferably AWS)
Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs.
A track record of successfully leading, delivering, and evolving large technical projects.
Achieving results, solving difficult technical challenges and anticipating technical problems ahead of time.
The ability and proven desire to successfully collaborate and communicate across teams to drive projects to completion balancing goals between tech and product.
Success with mentoring, teaching, coaching, and collaborating with engineers.
Previous experience in project and end to end delivery management within an agile organization with a DevOps culture, and familiarized with the usage of tools oriented to agile development
Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, ownership and people management skills.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

You will join the Engineering team to work on Aircall’s customer-facing product: web applications built with React and Typescript. It’s based on an in-house design system and strong coding conventions.
