VASS, in partnership with the European Commission, is currently seeking an Application Cloud Architect to work from the European Commission remotely.
Job Responsibilities
Development and maintenance of Information Systems
Technical and business analysis
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Good knowledge of the framework Blazor, of the web and c/s technologies .Net, Oracle pl/SQL.
Very good knowledge and practice of service-oriented REST web services architecture.
Very good analysis and problem-solving skills.
Very good knowledge and practice of Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA, ServiceNow, Outlook.
Very good ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture, design, and development.
Very good ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively.
Very good ability to apply high quality standards.
Very good team player, able to work as team member but with an adequate degree of autonomy.
Good technical and business self-starting capability.
Good knowledge of the standard technology stack and building blocks of the Commission.
Good knowledge and practice in needs and requirements collection using user stories and use cases.
Good knowledge of the Commission’s IT procedures, administrative procedures, financial procedures.
Ability to give technical presentations.
Ability to participate in business and technical meetings in both English and French.
Capability to write clear and structured business and technical documents
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
At least 5 years of specific expertise in web and c/s .Net development
At least 5 years of specific expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL development
At least 5 years of specific expertise in REST APIs development
At least 1 year of experience in Blazor development
