Company Description:
The SAH-SML joint venture (JV) has been awarded a contract for the development of the Oman Cultural Complex project in Muscat for its government client, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth. The SAH-SML JV was formed between Oman-based construction company Saif Salim Essa Al Harasi (SAH) and Turkey-based contractor Sembol Construction (SML). The scope of the project includes the design and construction of the Oman Cultural Complex and related works.
Job Summary:
The Architect will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of the architectural design for the project to ensure this is in line with the client's requirements and budget.
Duties & Responsibilities/Deliverables:
Collaborate with other members of the design team, including engineers, drafters, and other architects to produce high-quality design and construction documents/drawings.
Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
Manage cad operator, providing guidance and support throughout the design process.
Manage the design process from conception to completion, ensuring that project elements are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard, MEP coordination.
Coordination with building codes, regulations, and zoning laws to ensure that all designs comply with local and international standards.
Coordinated Shop drawing preparation.
Review and approve construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and material selections.
Stay up to date with the latest architectural trends, materials, and technologies to ensure that our designs are innovative and cutting-edge.
