Destination Manager Muscat
About the candidate:
This position supports in leading our guest-facing teams including Hotel Representatives, Airport Representatives and Tour Guides. The Destination Manager is responsible for service delivery and the effective selling of in-destination products and services.
About the role:
Oversee the work of the In-Destination Services Teams and any other front-line service delivery teams.
Ensure the overall performance, delivery of quality service in line with DMC service and grooming standards
Manage DMC costs through the efficient use of internal and, where appropriate, external resources.
Train and develop all members of the department to increase the revenue and margin through in-destinations sales
Handle guest queries and complaints to identify root causes and corrective actions
Conduct regular meetings to update field staff on new property locations, landmarks and other related information
Act as Operations Manager and Shift Lead of the DMC Contact Centre
Key requirements:
Must have 6-8 management experience and handled a team, including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing responsibilities
Bachelor's degree OR Diploma with a qualification in a relevant area
Budget and Cost Control Knowledge
IT and computer literacy
Communication and interpersonal skills
Management Skills and Performance Management
