Client Overview:
A specialist in the recycling industry: our client is passionate about transforming waste into a valuable commodity, through buying, selling and recycling scrap plastic. They serve hundreds of customers in over 50 countries and are looking to employ salespeople globally, to help drive their passion for recycling.
Role Overview:
Your role will be to secure diverse, stable supplies of scrap plastic commodities, generated from the waste management and recycling industry and identify suitable customers to sell said material. You will have ownership of a designated market territory and will focus on building supplier and customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
Cold calling and meeting new suppliers to purchase quality scrap plastic.
Identify and pursue new customer leads.
Gather market intelligence and monitor trends, relevant to the recycling and plastics industry.
Travel as required to customer and suppliers in a designated area.
Person Spec:
Proven commodity sales experience, exceeding financial targets.
Demonstrable track record in developing high volumes of recycled material from current and new suppliers.
A successful track record in selling in a fast-changing market.
Experience in successfully managing existing accounts and hunting for new ones at the same time.
