About the job
Critical care doctor, is a medical practitioner who specializes in the care of critically ill patients, most often in the intensive care unit.
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery certificate or equivalent
- Internship certificate
- Board certified in Internal Medicine/ Anaesthesia/ Emergency Medicine or equivalent
- Fellowship in Intensive Care
- Current and clean medical license to practice in country of origin/country of practice
Experience Post Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of post-fellowship experience in Intensive Care
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Consultant in Intensive Care
On-call as per regulations of the department
Interest in teaching students, resident’s fellow, and other allied health care professionals
Participates in health education programs through orientation and scientific presentations
Adheres to policies, guidelines, plans, and programs of the hospital:
Performs all duties assigned to his designation
Performs all relevant interventions related to his/her field of specialization
Completes and maintains her/ his set of clinical privileges
Performs other duties as assigned/directed by the chairperson/head of the department

طبيب الرعاية الحرجة، هو ممارس طبي متخصص في رعاية المرضى المصابين بأمراض خطيرة، في أغلب الأحيان في وحدة العناية المركزة.
التعليم / المؤهلات:
- شهادة بكالوريوس الطب والجراحة أو ما يعادلها
- شهادة التدريب
- شهادة البورد في الطب الباطني / التخدير / طب الطوارئ أو ما يعادلها
- الزمالة في العناية المركزة
- رخصة طبية حديثة ونظيفة لممارسة المهنة في بلد المنشأ/بلد الممارسة
الخبرات ما بعد المؤهلات:
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات بعد الزمالة في العناية المركزة
الواجبات / المسؤوليات الوظيفية:
استشاري في العناية المركزة
تحت الطلب حسب لوائح القسم
الاهتمام بتدريس الطلاب والزملاء المقيمين وغيرهم من المتخصصين في الرعاية الصحية المتحالفة
يشارك في برامج التثقيف الصحي من خلال التوجيه والعروض العلمية
الالتزام بسياسات وإرشادات وخطط وبرامج المستشفى:
يؤدي كافة الواجبات الموكلة إليه
يقوم بجميع التدخلات ذات الصلة المتعلقة بمجال تخصصه
يكمل ويحافظ على مجموعة الامتيازات السريرية الخاصة به
يؤدي واجبات أخرى حسب تعيينه / توجيهه من قبل رئيس / رئيس القسم
