Hiring for Quality Control (Chemist) in Beverages Company, located in Oman.
Position Overview:
As a Quality Control, (Chemist), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our beverages products. You will be responsible for conducting thorough chemical analysis and tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to uphold our stringent quality standards. Through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established protocols, you will contribute to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the beverage industry.
Job Responsibilities:
· Perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using a variety of laboratory equipment and techniques.
· Conduct sensory evaluations to assess flavor, aroma, and overall product quality.
· Utilize analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and pH meters to ensure product integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and observations in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Production, R&D, and Quality Assurance to investigate quality issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions.
· Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to beverage quality control.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
· Proven experience of 1 – 2 years in a quality control department as chemist role within the food and beverage industry, preferably with knowledge of beverage production processes.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data.
