About the Role:
As an external contractor specializing in Electronic Component Supply Chain and Procurement at Altium, you will play a crucial role in developing diverse technical marketing materials to promote the Octopart platform. Your focus will be on creating engaging and informative content, such as articles and videos, catering to procurement professionals in the electronics industry.
Examples of technical marketing content that a Supply Chain and Procurement Industry Expert is responsible for creating include:
Demos and presentations of Octopart.com
Procurement-focused workflow demos using Octopart.com
Technical white papers and case studies
User manuals and other technical documentation
Technical articles and blog posts
Webinars and other online educational content
Sales and marketing collateral (e.g., brochures, data sheets)
Product videos and tutorials
Social media posts and other online content
Training materials and workshops
Who We’re Looking For:
Expertise in the electronics industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry trends, supply chain and procurement challenges, and emerging technologies
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation
Experience with content creation, including creating technical articles, blog posts, videos, and other online content
Ability to deliver technical presentations to technical audiences
Ability to provide technical support and training to customers and partners
Good organizational and time management skills
Understanding of electronics and experience working as an electronics industry supply chain manager or procurement manager is a plus
Knowledge of Octopart.com, Altium Designer, SiliconExpert, FindChips, SupplyFrame and Netcomponents, PLM Software, and ERP Software is a plus
