About the job
Marine Operations
Act as the Port Authorities representative and ensure that all pilotage is carried out with due regard and act as a liaison officer between the Port Authority and the Ship's Master while on board.
Assist in the control of port traffic by advising vessels where to enter the channel and when and where to expect the pilot to board while monitoring efficient operations of radio and electronic equipment to communicate directly with ships or other maritime stations to ensure smooth traffic flow.
Assist with the coordination of all arrangements for vessels arriving, anchoring, berthing, unberthing, shifting ship and departing while ensuring timely completion of relevant pilotage documentation and accurate provision of information for charging.
Conduct timely observation of all port operations, requesting dispatch of tugs, mooring boats and mooring crew.
Ensure timely provision of advice during inclement weather to Ship's Masters of suitable anchorage positions and suitable berthing arrangements in line with safety standards and Port Regulations.
Conduct accurate allocation of berths to vessels in line with defined guidelines.
Initiate an Emergency Response and provide support during emergencies and maritime rescue operations to assure optimum protection of all resources.

Internal Audit Activities:
Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing, and analyzing evidence, and documenting auditee processes and procedures and internal control risk assessment through implementing audit plans and programs. Make sure to complete the audit on time.
Prepare outcomes and findings of audit reports with recommendations for corrective action and communicate the audit results via written reports and oral presentations to senior management and the Board of Directors.
Conduct the follow-up activities and keep track of the follow-up performance.
Participated in annual audit planning and establishing the strategy of Internal Audit.
Participate in risk assessment and management process and develop and maintain Risk reports and Registers.
Conduct interviews with the auditee to identify and understand all aspects of internal controls, procedures, policies, and practices and make the relevant system notes as required while also using the information to develop and administer surveys, compose summary memos, and prepare working papers.
Conduct initial kick-off meetings with department heads ahead of a planned audit program to communicate the details of the program, determine timings, and explain audit requirements.
Present the identified list of risks and potential exposures with the Auditee and discuss methods for mitigating risk through internal controls.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships through individual contacts and group meetings to facilitate the effective implementation of audit programs across SIP Group.
Conduct monthly meetings with department heads of department to make sure that recommendations for corrective action have been followed and implemented.
Provides management and the Audit Committee with objective analyses, observations, and recommendations developed in conjunction with the Internal Audit Department's review of the accounting, financial, compliance, contractual, and other operational activities.
Provides quality and value-added audit services while maintaining independence and objectivity.
Prepare training needs for the Internal Audit Department.
Attend Audie Committee meeting and present the internal audit report.

العمل كممثل لسلطات الميناء والتأكد من تنفيذ جميع عمليات الإرشاد مع المراعاة الواجبة والعمل كضابط اتصال بين هيئة الميناء وربان السفينة أثناء وجوده على متن السفينة.
المساعدة في التحكم في حركة المرور في الميناء من خلال تقديم المشورة للسفن بمكان دخول القناة ومتى وأين يتوقع صعود الطيار أثناء مراقبة العمليات الفعالة للمعدات اللاسلكية والإلكترونية للتواصل مباشرة مع السفن أو المحطات البحرية الأخرى لضمان تدفق حركة المرور بسلاسة.
المساعدة في تنسيق جميع الترتيبات الخاصة بوصول السفن ورسوها ورسوها وإنزالها وتغيير السفينة والمغادرة مع ضمان إكمال وثائق الإرشاد ذات الصلة في الوقت المناسب وتوفير المعلومات الدقيقة للشحن.
إجراء المراقبة في الوقت المناسب لجميع عمليات الميناء، وطلب إرسال القاطرات وقوارب الإرساء وطاقم الإرساء.
ضمان تقديم المشورة في الوقت المناسب أثناء الطقس العاصف إلى ربابنة السفينة بشأن مواقع الرسو المناسبة وترتيبات الرسو المناسبة بما يتماشى مع معايير السلامة ولوائح الميناء.
إجراء تخصيص دقيق للأرصفة للسفن بما يتماشى مع المبادئ التوجيهية المحددة.
