About the job
My client is seeking an experienced Rust engineer to develop and maintain the on-chain infrastructure of their platform. Your main responsibility will be product ownership of the smart contracts and associated packages that form their on-chain infrastructure. You will work with skilled engineers to scope out and develop features, identify and resolve codebase issues, and incorporate customer feedback. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership and responsibility over a codebase.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of the core on-chain infrastructure
Assist in making architectural decisions and developing roadmaps
Build and maintain open-source software in Rust
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience with Rust as a primary development language
Over 5 years of experience in software development
Strong architectural skills
Effective communication skills in a team setting
Experience in project and codebase management, preferably with codebases over 20k line
Familiarity with CI/CD and release workflow
Prior experience managing multiple engineers
