JOB TITLE- BEEKEEPER
Position Summary:
This role reports to both the Veterinary and Crop Managers and primarily involves the management of apiaries and all related tasks in accordance with Company Policy. The incumbent will be responsible for adhering to Company and Farm policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Essential Duties:
Overseeing all beekeeping tasks, including planning and organizing honey production.
Constructing and maintaining beehives.
Regularly inspecting and maintaining active hives to prevent disease and parasite infestation, as instructed by Company policy.
Coordinating with the Crop Manager to fulfill pollination requirements on the farm.
Ensuring all apiary areas meet the company's high standards and protocols.
