Database Analyst & Development Consultant
About the job
Responsibilities
Collect and analyse business requirements and requests related to support for data extraction, database development, prepare necessary documentation, provide testing support and ensure smooth Roll-out of business demands & projects.
Drive developments and coordinate with business and Big Data team, and other support teams for timely and quality delivery and support well within the agreed schedule/SLAs.
Follow the practice of the bank IT governance and controls.
Principal Accountabilities
Interacts with the Business Users, Core banking systems, Card Systems and other systems team, and other IT stakeholders to handle new business requirements and projects. The various stages of involvement would include: -
1. Business Support
• Analyze the impacts on the new requirements
• Creating Business requirement analysis document for data/analytics/MIS requirements as well as FSD documents in line with the bank IT SDLC & Agile practices.
• Drive developments and coordinate with development team and support team for timely and quality delivery of the requirement
• User Coordination for UAT
2. Projects/Business Demands
• Facilitate, Knowledge transfer on business demands and projects
• Co-ordinate and handle Business request relating to Data/Analytics/MIS requirements
• Handle and Involve on development activities based on the project’s requirements and design artifacts
3. Operational and Historical Data system (ETL) Enhancements
• Bringing Data from Different Subsystems & Core Banking System to ETL.
• Maintenance of History tables in ETL by reducing the load from Core banking System.
• Involves in data warehouse implementation to support application development projects.
• Implement the new business requirements on data warehouse including enhancement of the existing ones.
• Able to perform database tuning to increase performance and query optimization.
• Having experience in Building Cubes for Business Intelligence and writing MDX Scripting will be a plus.
• Detailed testing of data warehouse jobs post implementing business requirements.
• Troubleshoot data warehouse related issues in a timely fashion to identify any issues related to performance and take corrective measures.
• Involved in in creating new database objects like views, functions and stored procedures.
4. Other Areas
• Represent Big Data team in Business meetings / Projects / Presentations relating.
• Report to the appropriate authority on the progress of activities assigned from time to time.
• Ensure the Tasks targets are met on time and within budget, without compromising quality
• Ensure that ETL systems and other related systems/components are full functional as per the operational procedures documented, practices and with coordination with another IT team.
• Maintain all necessary business demands and project documentations
• SLA Compliance for IT based on Services defined in IT Service Catalogue

جمع وتحليل متطلبات العمل والطلبات المتعلقة بدعم استخراج البيانات، وتطوير قواعد البيانات، وإعداد الوثائق اللازمة، وتوفير دعم الاختبار وضمان التنفيذ السلس لمتطلبات الأعمال والمشاريع.
قيادة التطورات والتنسيق مع فريق الأعمال والبيانات الضخمة وفرق الدعم الأخرى للتسليم والدعم في الوقت المناسب وبجودة عالية ضمن الجدول الزمني / اتفاقيات مستوى الخدمة المتفق عليها.

المحاسبات الرئيسية
يتفاعل مع مستخدمي الأعمال والأنظمة المصرفية الأساسية وأنظمة البطاقات وفريق الأنظمة الأخرى وأصحاب المصلحة الآخرين في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات للتعامل مع متطلبات ومشاريع العمل الجديدة. وتشمل المراحل المختلفة للمشاركة ما يلي: -
1. دعم الأعمال
• تحليل التأثيرات على المتطلبات الجديدة
• إنشاء مستند تحليل متطلبات الأعمال للبيانات/التحليلات/متطلبات نظم المعلومات الإدارية، فضلاً عن مستندات FSD بما يتماشى مع ممارسات البنك IT SDLC & Agile.
• قيادة التطورات والتنسيق مع فريق التطوير وفريق الدعم لتسليم المتطلبات في الوقت المناسب وبجودة عالية
• تنسيق المستخدم لـ UAT
2. المشاريع/متطلبات الأعمال
• تسهيل نقل المعرفة بشأن متطلبات الأعمال والمشاريع
• تنسيق والتعامل مع طلب الأعمال المتعلقة بمتطلبات البيانات/التحليلات/نظم المعلومات الإدارية
• التعامل مع أنشطة التطوير وإشراكها استناداً إلى متطلبات المشروع والتحف التصميمية
3. تحسينات نظام البيانات التشغيلية والتاريخية (ETL).
• جلب البيانات من الأنظمة الفرعية المختلفة والنظام المصرفي الأساسي إلى ETL.
• صيانة جداول التاريخ في ETL عن طريق تقليل الحمل من النظام المصرفي الأساسي.
• يشارك في تنفيذ مستودع البيانات لدعم مشاريع تطوير التطبيقات.
• تنفيذ متطلبات العمل الجديدة في مستودع البيانات بما في ذلك تعزيز تلك الموجودة.
• القدرة على إجراء ضبط قاعدة البيانات لزيادة الأداء وتحسين الاستعلام.
• وجود خبرة في بناء مكعبات لذكاء الأعمال وكتابة البرمجة النصية MDX ستكون ميزة إضافية.
• اختبار تفصيلي لوظائف مستودع البيانات بعد تنفيذ متطلبات العمل.
• استكشاف المشكلات المتعلقة بمستودع البيانات وإصلاحها في الوقت المناسب لتحديد أي مشكلات تتعلق بالأداء واتخاذ التدابير التصحيحية.
• المشاركة في إنشاء كائنات قاعدة بيانات جديدة مثل طرق العرض والوظائف والإجراءات المخزنة.
4. مناطق أخرى
• تمثيل فريق البيانات الضخمة في اجتماعات العمل/المشاريع/العروض التقديمية المتعلقة.
• تقديم تقرير إلى السلطة المختصة عن التقدم المحرز في الأنشطة المعينة من وقت لآخر.
• ضمان تحقيق أهداف المهام في الوقت المحدد وفي حدود الميزانية، دون المساس بالجودة
• التأكد من أن أنظمة ETL والأنظمة/المكونات الأخرى ذات الصلة تعمل بكامل طاقتها وفقًا للإجراءات التشغيلية الموثقة والممارسات وبالتنسيق مع فريق تكنولوجيا المعلومات آخر.
• الحفاظ على كافة متطلبات العمل الضرورية ووثائق المشروع
• الامتثال لاتفاقية مستوى الخدمة لتكنولوجيا المعلومات بناءً على الخدمات المحددة في كتالوج خدمات تكنولوجيا المعلومات
