Role Summary
The position is mainly responsible to undertake the safety and security of mall customers, merchants, visitors and the staff.
ROLE PROFILE
Clear emergency area from people, a minimum of 30 meter area should be cleared.
Close all entrances leading to emergency area to forbid people from coming close.
Make sure no one is video tapping during the emergency.
Help direct people to nearest exit.
Make sure all elevators/ escalators/ travellators are not used by people during emergency.
Call for help from control room when things get out of hand.
Help people in need during evacuation like people on wheel chairs or old people…
Help fire fighter inside mall to locate the emergency location.
Communication between control room /guards/ supervisors/duty managers should be quick/ accurate.
Alert evacuation call should be transmitted on all mall speakers, after making sure with the mall management that it’s a correct evacuation situation not a false alarm.
Keep in contact all time with control room for further instructions.
Make sure shops are evacuated of customers/workers as fast as possible.
Make sure all toilets are empty from customers/workers.
Make sure all fire exits are open and nothing is blocking the way.
Requirements
Minimum High school or Diploma.
Minimum 1 year of experience.
Good English level.
Attention to details.
Good communication skills.
