Your Impact Will Be
- Managing and directing processes and R&D to meet the needs of our AI strategy.
- Understanding company and client challenges and how integrating AI capabilities can help lead to solutions.
- Working cross-functionally within EDB, across engineering, marketing, sales, and other functions to take ideas through the entire lifecycle, from ideation to production.
- Working with customers to understand and incorporate their feedback into our product vision while also being an effective evangelist for EDB and our offerings.
- Collaborating with product and engineering peers to deliver your product’s roadmap.
- Making sure our engineering team is always fed with a prioritized backlog of features with clear acceptance criteria.
- Supporting our Sales team. Collaborating with product marketing and enablement to ensure the field is prepared to support new releases.
- Bringing an inquisitive, innovative & collegiate attitude to problem-solving.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, competitive landscape, and market trends, using these insights to drive product improvements and identify new opportunities.
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years of experience leading technically complex enterprise products.
- Demonstrated success as a product manager for a complex, data-intensive offering with enterprise customers.
- Exceptional communication skills. Able to explain complex topics and provide audience-appropriate summarizations.
- Solid understanding of modern product management principles and product development processes.
- Solid understanding of the opportunities for generative AI within the database landscape.
- Technical track record working closely with engineering/technical teams.
- Strong ability to lead through influence, debate, and storytelling.
What Will Give You An Edge
- MBA with a technical undergrad degree preferred, but not required.
- Understanding of the Postgres ecosystem, used/managed Postgres.
- Knowledge of OSS and OSS communities (not just Postgres, though that’s a double plus!).
