2-Sr. Process Engineering
Job Description
- Assess surface facilities requirements based on the latest oil, gas, produced water and water injection E&D forecasts, as well as government regulations, HSE requirements and other process requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new project proposals to assess their economic and technical feasibility.
- Carry-out concept selection studies for new surface oil and gas production facilities to determine the most optimum options and issue Concept Selection Reports (CSR).
- Prepare Scopes of Work (SOW) for all new surface facilities projects to layout the basis for design for Front-End Engineering and Detailed Design.
- Conduct studies to identify improvements in existing facilities.
- Provide technical process support for engineering projects under execution by reviewing all process-related documentation and drawings and responding to technical queries.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOP and other process safety studies and project meetings during FEED and DD and provide the required process engineering support.
- Provide process engineering support to other departments where necessary.
- Participate and lead process investigations, troubleshooting and debottlenecking for facilities where necessary.
- Lead Front End Design activities and deliverables including design basis, philosophies, Heat & Material Balances, process simulation, Hydraulic and transient analysis, Process Flow Schemes, Process Safeguarding Flow Schemes, Process Engineering Flow Schemes, Equipment sizing, etc.
- Review and approve EPC consultants' process engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate, supervise and approve 3rd Party studies, e.g. Feasibility studies, Conceptual studies, FEED studies, Availability studies, Quantitative Risk Assessment studies.
- Provide support and coaching to Process and Associate Process Engineers as well as Process Engineering Interns.
- Follow all safety, health and environmental policies of the Company at all times.
- Ensure that all QHSE requirements are fully in compliance.
Skills Required
- BEng or BSc in Process/Chemical Engineering or a similar Engineering discipline ·
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Process Engineering in the oil and gas industry with concept /FEED/DD engineering experience.
- Independently provided technical process engineering support to several projects, as the main process engineer.

- إجراء دراسات الجدوى لمقترحات المشاريع الجديدة لتقييم جدواها الاقتصادية والفنية.
- إجراء دراسات اختيار المفاهيم لمنشآت إنتاج النفط والغاز السطحية الجديدة لتحديد الخيارات الأمثل وإصدار تقارير اختيار المفاهيم (CSR).
