What You’ll Do

Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments.

Investigating accidents and environmental incidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.

Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organisation and government standards related to environmental heath and safety.

Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organisation.

Manage and maintain energy management data.

Support the implementation of key business HSE improvement projects.

Carry out site HSE inspections and ensure that corrective actions are highlighted and managed.

Provide proactive support and guidance on all HSE related issues within the site.

Identify relevant HSE training requirements for all affected personnel.

Implement effective HSE communications and employee consultation.

Passionately champion all aspects of HSE on site.

You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience

Specialized Diploma / Vocational Training

Relevant QHSE experience

NEBOSH or equivalent certification
