1-Completion Wells Supervisor
Accountabilities
- Responsible for ensuring HSSE is integrated in the procedure and execution of wells operations. Actively promote HSSE and Sustainable Development (SD) in all activities and ensure compliance with business principles. Lead Front Line safety leadership and the delivery of annual safety goals and action plans.
- Responsible for planning, logistics, supervision, assurance and documentation of the execution of well work activities. Will work closely with the CWI engineers and operations staff to make well work decisions/recommendations.
- Support in selecting and optimize of completion type; well intervention units; techniques/materials; fracture treatments; plugback methods, perforating methods, cleanout methods, management of pressure differentials between zones, and management of project risks.
- Ensure all operations are executed in compliance with company procedures, manuals, policies and guidelines.
- Ensure Wells Process Safety principles are implemented, identifying and ensuring compliance to Front Line Barrier Management.
- Work closely with the completion engineer to make well work decisions/recommendations including selection and optimization of services, materials, fluid systems, operational techniques, operational efficiencies, cost tracking, and management of project risks.
- Provide input on well programs, including details around HSSE, well control, equipment, contractors, etc.
- Track well costs and job timing during execution.
- Drive field performance to meet Completion Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Responsible for managing the well work schedule for the field, coordination of material and equipment and serving as a primary interface between engineering and operations.
- Accountable for well handover/hand back with other operations groups such as drilling and production.
- Provide input and suggestions on service contracts to enable high performance. Manage contractor services in the field in line with the contracting strategy and the goals of the contract management team. Serve as a focal point for HSSE management with the contractors and the evaluation of service quality. Lead discussions with contractors regarding performance, future plans, and deviations needed.
- Responsible for championing operational performance improvement initiatives throughout the well delivery process. Support the implementation of new technologies as part of the performance improvement process.
- Responsible for maintaining communication and leading by example in ensuring integration with the Asset Team and support departments.
2-Petrophysicist Operations
Accountabilities:
- Deliver petrophysical interpretations of offset wells in support of well location selection and drilling related subsurface risk assessment.
- Take full ownership of the data acquisition programs – i.e., LWD, wireline logging programs (open hole & cased hole), coring (both full-bore and sidewall), as well as sampling.
- Follow drilling, LWD and wireline logging (open hole & cased hole) operations and perform quick-look interpretation feeding into operational decisions.
- Manage sample gathering, transport and evaluation by third parties. This includes both core material and PVT samples.
- Ensure compliance to relevant corporate Subsurface Design and Engineering Practices (DEPs).
- Ensure corporate Petrophysical standards and procedures are upheld and adhered to.
- Ensure integration of petrophysical work with other subsurface disciplines.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of petrophysical data in the corporate data base in line with corporate standards and procedures.
- Be a key contributor to identification and maturation of hydrocarbon opportunities and operational activities.
- Identify requirements for data gathering to optimize integrated hydrocarbon maturation.
- Pursue application of appropriate (new) evaluation (& data acquisition) technologies.
3- Sr. Designer - Control & Automation (C&A) – Omani
- Minimum of a Diploma in Engineering with 12 Years of experience in Oil & Gas. Shall report to the relevant lead discipline Engineer/Head. Good knowledge of company standards, Shell Group DEP’s and International Standards.
- Responsible to provide project team with C&A drawings using AutoCAD or SPI software’s.
- Carry out a variety of activities as directed by lead engineer/ head in order to ensure timely completion of all work/ design drawings within the timelines set while following the company guidelines.
- Preparation of detailed drawings and documents to comply with the requirements of Engineer.
- Produce presentable and accurate drawings, including a consistency check. Modification of existing drawings.
- Ensure all discipline design interfaces are clearly defined.
- Interact with other disciplinary team members when required for quality outputs
- Carry out site visits for survey based on project requirement.
- Generate C&A drawings based on PEFS, Plot plan and Vendor drawings.
4-Engineer - Instrumentation
Candidate Specification
- Relevant BSc. degree qualifications
- Extensive years of experience in similar projects
- Experience in Engineering and design of Large EPC projects in Oil and gas process plants.
- Functional Safety Certification (IEC 61511) will be an added advantage.
5-Sr. Engineer (Pipeline/Flowlines) – Omani
Degree in Engineering with 12 Years of experience in Oil & Gas.
- Responsible for leading the design and execute discipline front end and detailed design input to engineering projects and provide engineering support to the construction / operations /commissioning phases. Should be familiar with PDO pipe line standards like SP-1211, SP-1208, SP-1212 etc. Familiar with all pipe line related PDO standards, SOP, Shell DEPS and various applicable international standard and design code like ASME B.31.8, B31.4, B31.3, API Standards and other industry applicable ASTM, ANSI, MSS-SP, ISO stds. Should have experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelines with different types of material (e.g., GRE, DSS, CS+PE lined, CS+FBE coated, LLRTP…etc.) with intensive experience in FEED and detailed design.
- Attend design review, HAZOP and IPF meetings
- PDO Approval with DA-2/DA-3 will be preferable
6-Sr. Engineer (Technical Safety) – Omani
Degree in Engineering with 12 Years of experience in Oil & Gas.
- Manage the Services aspects of the Contract including provision of Technical Safety.
- Engineering Services in full accordance with Contract specifications and shall report directly to HOD TSE.
- Prepare TSE deliverable required for the project scope and submit to Client for approval by completing SDC & IDC.
- Conduct Physical Effects Modelling using Shell FRED software.
- Provide and prepare all inputs required for conducting workshops.
- Prepare DEM1/2 and LFI for the project and meet all compliance required.
- PDO Approval with DA-2/DA-3 will be preferable
7-Sr. Engineer (Process) – Omani
Degree in Engineering with 12 Years of experience in Oil & Gas.
- FEED and Detailed Engineering of Non- Standard Oil Producer Wells, Non- Standard High Pressure Gas Wells, Flowline Pipelines & Trunkline Projects, Manifold and MSVs & Separation unit & Pumping system.
- Co-ordination with the site team for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning & Start-Up Activities.
- Development of junior level engineers & designers.
- Development of Omani engineers & designers.
- Co-ordination for standard well package – Oil, High-Pressure Gas, Hydrocarbon & Steam Wells.
- Review of Basis of Design & concept Note document received from client.
- Supporting AIPSM compliance Report by closing process engineering DEM-1/2, LFI/LL, etc.
- Supporting PDO/Shell Engineering Process Safety Fundamentals in the project design life.
- PDO Approval with DA-2/DA-3 will be preferable

8-Flowline Design Coordinator (Site Based) – Omani
- Degree in Engineering with 7 Years of experience in Oil & Gas. Responsible for Oil & Gas field design & engineering, Interface between Site Construction, Site designers and HO Design office as required for various projects (either in bidding or execution stage).
- Review/preparation of engineering documents for Pipeline/Flowline projects like Route Survey, Profile drawings, General arrangement, iso metrics, Site visit report, Inputs for Design basis, Specifications, Data sheets, Material requisitions, Construction scope of work etc.
- Familiar with various applicable International Standard and Design Code’s like ASME B.31.8, B31.4, B31.3, API Standards, Shell Group’s DEP, and other industry applicable ASTM, ANSI, MSS-SP, ISO STDS.
- PDO Approval with PDO driving license.
9-Sr. Designers (Omani)
- HND or Diploma in Engineering,having8 years experience in design & engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in the design of Oil & Gas facilities plus proven experience in AutoCAD.
- Experience with PDO and/Shell Group projects and standards (SPs and DEPs) is preferred.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills.
