1-Team Lead, Reservoir Engineering
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Participate in integrated field studies for maturing hydrocarbon resources
- Provide guidance to support the Development Manager in achieving desired performance objectives.
- Support / Advise Development Manager & Reservoir Team to aid in maintaining high technical standards
- Develop plans / programs as required by the Development Manager
- Guide / support reservoir engineers to establish and implement plans that meet reservoir engineering requirements
- Perform / guide simulation and other studies to evaluate various depletion schemes and to investigate technical issues
- Perform all related studies necessary to perform simulation studies including Pressure, Volume, Temperature (PVT), inflow/outflow, relative permeability, Special Core Analysis Laboratory (SCAL) and other evaluations
- Perform depletion plan assessments to support the company in asset acquisition evaluations
- Lead and/or participate in Peer Reviews to insure high technical standards are maintained
- Provide necessary input to drilling, facilities, and other groups as required to support projects
- Willing to mentor less experienced reservoir engineers in performing simulation and other studies
- Document results in a comprehensive and understandable format, both in written and in graphic forms
- Provide timely and focused updates of results/plans to management/partners/others
- Develop specific strategies with the Development Manager to address identified risks and challenges
- Support risk assessments and studies as defined in the Project Risk Management Plan, and ensure results are addressed as relevant field work is executed
- Support uncertainty analysis studies and value of information assessments for data acquisition plans
- Share safety-related Lessons Learned across project(s) and within the company
- Conduct workflows pertaining to reserves maturation, well testing and field development planning
- Conduct reservoir simulations and update reservoir management strategies
- Specifically monitor a range of activities, including well surveillance, fluid sampling, well testing and completion operations.
- Analyze and interpret information from the field using suitable reservoir engineering tools such as well test evaluation programs or reservoir simulation software for making recommendations aiming at optimizing production and supporting field development
- Contribute in monthly production planning and reservoir surveillance planning as required
- Design and follow up of the execution of Well Test programs
- Perform fluid characterization studies for understanding fluid distribution in the field
- Perform analysis and interpretation of RFT / MDT data as required
- Participate in integrated field studies for maturing hydrocarbon resources
- Evaluate well/reservoir performance and recommend production improvement opportunities
- Provide RE input to business planning, reserve evaluation and well proposals
- Participate in integrated field studies
- Work with other disciplines on hydrocarbon maturation to further develop the asset
- Coach and mentor early career professionals
2-Principal Performance Management
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Lead the definition of variables, and Conduct the reports of the technical performance against set KPIs and Business Improvement Plans for all RPI & Plastic Assets and Functions.
- Lead the execution of technical and business performance report generation at RPI & Plastic Assets
- Lead the High level (Leadership Executive Team for RPI & Plastics) and detailed level (technical) of performance analysis indicators
- Standardize reporting across the RPI & Plastic Assets and functions
- Interface with Commercial & Downstream Operational Excellence and DS Business Development teams on data gathering and performance analysis.
- Lead the development and implementation of performance metrics in e.g. Management Information Systems like iMS and Business Warehouse at RPI & Plastics
- Suggest new techniques and technologies to continuously improve Business Analytics and reporting, visualisation at RPI & Plastics
- Lead and facilitate data gathering for business analytics and benchmarking of all RPI & Plastics Assets
- Lead the development of gap analysis reports and share with assets owners at RPI & Plastics through business improvement team
- Provide actual and forecasted data on key performance metric (like Process Utilisation, Operational Availability, Unit cost, Energy efficiency, Refinery Gross Margin) industry trends based on Business Improvement Plans applicable to RPI & Plastics
- Manage all past operational, technical and business performance data in database/system(s) related with all RPI & Plastic Assets
- Manage all benchmarks, targets, as well as, planned and forecasted operational & business performance data in database/system.
3-Principal Frac Engineer
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Provide guidance and thoughts on Frac jobs design and implementations, including the use of a two- or three-dimensional model. For the computer models
- Data input for the model: Include wellbore configuration and reservoir characteristics such as porosity, permeability, stress and thickness profiles of the pay layers as well as the overburden layers.
- Fracturing fluid type and volume, proppant type and volume, injection rate, proppant concentration and frac job schedule, finding the optimum combination is not a trivial process.
- Develop new methodologies in reservoir characterizations and wellbore configuration.
- Develop scenarios for the initial points for the engineer to start the design job of runs on the simulator.
- Analyze and interpret information from the field using available engineering tools for making recommendations aiming at optimizing production and supporting field development
- Work closely with Reservoir Engineers and Geologists to maximize the value of assigned assets.
- Coach and mentor early career professionals
