As talabat continues to grow and keep ahead of the curve we have launched our very own end-end grocery service across the MENA region: tMart.
We’re looking for a Assistant Store Supervisor to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!
- Responsible for the operations of the store during his shift, in terms of end-to-end operation: managing staff, ordering, inbound receiving, stocking, pick and pack orders.
- Assists Store supervisor to manage all store operations (i.e. selecting people, scheduling shifts, routine and preventive maintenance, …)
- Assists Store supervisor for Ordering / Store replenishment: by ensuring proper stock in stores (No OOS or OVS) and help to assess the inventory and issue orders based on the input and assessment of demand planner plus physical stock assessment.
- Inventory management: Support Store supervisor by ensuring effective stock control function and practices. Support implementation of inventory process to ensure adequate stock levels and accurate inventory by conducting Store Stock take & Cycle count based on the agreed schedule.
- Inbound receiving: During his shift, ensure accurate receiving of orders as per policies & SOP.
- Outbound: During his shift, ensure efficient and accurate picking and packing of customer orders, as per SOP.
- Support Store supervisor by monitoring fulfillment processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and profits.

- Lead on Assortment Guidelines (Breadth & Depth).
- Lead on SKU Limit, Brand Limit, by category depending on different category roles.
- Develop reports to assess the performance of the categories covering low performing items, GMROI, potential categories for assortment increase/decrease, cohorts & CSAT scores.
- Do regular maintenance for the pricing strategies and resolve items with margin erosion, and items that jeopardize price perception.
- Lead on identifying brands that are available in targeted players in the market that might fit tMart’s concept and target customers.
- Perform category performance reviews, by doing proper category rationalization exercises to identify items that need to be closed out and categories that require more listings.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business or Engineering.
- Have at least 4+ years of experience working in a startup or consultancy.
