Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for handling all SCS/CS activities in the field for all GEV-GA projects, including on-shore and off-shore in Oman. The role requires close coordination with the SCS Engineering & Field Service team, Project Management, Application, and After Sales. The position reports to the GA Gulf Cluster Engineering & Field Services leader.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare Signal Lists from Schematics and other applicable documents.

Prepare Interlocking documents from Main PLD.
-
Responsible for Field Services activity of the Substation Automation Systems including SCS/SCS, RTU, and Cybersecurity.

Take complete ownership of technical activities for assigned projects, including EHS coordination, site surveys, engineering, design, panel integration support, Pre-FAT internal validation, FAT with customer, supervising site installations, conducting site testing and commissioning, site red mark-up and As-Built Drawings, system troubleshooting and rectification.

Perform, coordinate, and record tests for digital inputs, controls, measurements, interlocks, IEC61850 IEDs, and SCADA signals.

Perform, coordinate, and record tests for SCS/CS complex functionalities.
