Legal Counsel

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Ability to provide operational input on legal issues arising within the business.
• Excellent communicator with gravitas to influence, persuade and negotiate at all levels, including at Legal Director and CXO level.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as contracts and commercial lawyer.
• Experienced in structuring and negotiating complex transactions and providing legal advice on these transactions to senior business people.
• Ability to give specialist advice to commercial and HR colleagues in order to drive decisions and to resolve immediate, complex and strategically important issues.
• Ability to implement and utilise contract management systems and legal technology, including AI tools, to streamline drafting, review, and compliance processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce risk.

Key performance indicators:

• Quality of delivery.
• Turnaround time of inquiries of different complexities.
• Contracts within corporate risk profile.

Technical / professional qualifications:

• University degree.
• Legally qualified with experience gained in-house and potentially prior to in-house at a leading law firm.
• Expert knowledge of contract and commercial law, as well as labour law.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English language.
• Drafting and negotiating experience, with ability to provide innovative legal solutions in a fast moving industry.
• Start-up experience in setting up a new company/operator is highly desirable.

Internal Audit Lead

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Strong professional background in internal audit / accounting within large organisations, with exposure to finance, commercial & technology environments.
• Proven ability to engage and report effectively to Boards and Audit Committees, influencing control, risk, and audit decisions.
• Strong analytical thinking, audit methodology expertise (including data analytics and CAATs), and ability to provide value-added advisory on business processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and resilience to drive audit improvements and change across complex organisations such as Vodafone.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
• IT/Network background will be an advantage.

• خبرة في الصياغة والتفاوض مع القدرة على تقديم حلول قانونية مبتكرة في بيئة سريعة الحركة.
• خبرة في تأسيس شركة أو مشغل جديد تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

الكفاءات الأساسية والمعرفة والخبرة:

• خبرة مهنية قوية في المراجعة الداخلية / المحاسبة داخل مؤسسات كبيرة، مع تعرض للبيئات المالية والتجارية والتقنية.
• القدرة المثبتة على التواصل والتقارير الفعالة مع مجالس الإدارة ولجان التدقيق، والتأثير على القرارات المتعلقة بالرقابة والمخاطر والمراجعة.
• مهارات تحليلية قوية، وخبرة في منهجيات التدقيق (بما في ذلك تحليل البيانات وCAATs)، والقدرة على تقديم استشارات قيمة لتحسين العمليات.
• مهارات ممتازة في إدارة أصحاب المصلحة والتواصل والقدرة على قيادة التحسينات والتغيير عبر مؤسسات معقدة.
• خبرة لا تقل عن 6 سنوات، ويفضل أن تكون في صناعة الاتصالات.
